"It was our first time to Beaver Island. We loved every minute of it! Our stay was awesome. Room was just as described and a great location. Clean, roomy, easy checkin/out. Rented a car and it was well worth it. We hiked trails that were so quiet and beautiful! Highly recommend St. James place when staying on the island!"

"We were just here for one night, but it is a very nice, clean, place to stay. Good location right by town so you can walk to most everything you will go to on the island in 10 minutes. We didn’t have time to use it, but it has a nice screened in porch as well."

"My husband and I rented this property for a long weekend, and it was wonderful! Lois and her husband were so welcoming and friendly. The rental was the perfect size for just the two of us (but can also accommodate 2 more), and the location of the property made it an ideal "landing spot" as we explored the community, much of it within easy walking distance. I absolutely recommend this rental!"

"Overall, great trip. The island is wonderful, the location was good, and we really appreciated it being a dog friendly property. That said, my expectations were higher for cleanliness. Main points: mattresses are stained/need vacuuming and do not have covers. I am very glad we brought blankets. The blankets that are in the house are dirty. There is mess in every drawer/shelf. It is clearly a family vacation home, but it is difficult to get comfortable when there’s no place to put your stuff...

"Staying inside the house was fine, but outside the house my family didn't want to stay for long. we found a nest of snakes in front of the house. and we would have liked to be in the water, for that reason we could not swim in the water, my family did not feel comfortable. they are in the area of the metal wall on the right hand side there were many."

"This is the second time we’ve rented this property and it has several characteristics which make it unique. Location - lovely view of Lake Michigan including fabulous sunsets, but not far from town or a perfect public beach for walking & swimming. Thick vegetation makes it quiet & lush but there’s always a good breeze from the lake. Loons and saw a pelican, too & a snowshoe hare in yard. The screened in porch is a huge plus for relaxing bug-free. Big & well- equipped kitchen for foodies....

"This homes location, host and amenities were beyond expectations! We have stayed at different locations on Beaver Island, and this has become our families favorite that we will return to every summer! "We loved staying at the Lucky Charm on lake G. This was our first time to Beaver island. The inland lake was more peaceful and less windy than being right on Lake Michigan, yet only a short trail walk to the big lake. The water was surprisingly warm considering the air temp was barely 70. The cabin is rustic and clean and had WiFi for the kids and all the basic essentials you need."

"We had an amazing stay at our cottage. Everything was clean and quiet with a fantastic view!! We were greeted by a family of Grouse when we arrived which was also so very cute. All necessities were provided for us to cook in the kitchen. Beds were also very comfy. Great memories!!!"

"This is our second year staying here and we have truly enjoyed it each year. The location can’t be beat. You are within walking distance of everything in town has to offer. Being so close to the water was wonderful with the kids. We plan to continue staying here during our annual visit to BI!"
