First of all, it’s NOT super 7 like it’s advertised as, it’s an OYO property. Second, there were roaches. Third, there was no one at the counter when I checked in or out. Checking in I didn’t mind standing there waiting a few minutes but checking out irritated me with no one being there because I wanted to know how long it would take until my deposit will be back on my card. What if I hadda paid in cash? All I’m saying is someone needs to be at the desk from 10:30-11:15a since check out is 11a and from 2:45-3:45p since 3p is check in. Fourth, noise surprisingly was low. There was however an unexpected knock on the door, of which I didn’t answer or respond to because no one knew of my whereabouts except my daughter so I wasn’t expecting anyone and it wasn’t hotel staff. Fifth, the room was a bit too dark for my liking because it bothers my eyes as soon as I open the door. Lastly, sixth, there’s no direct line/number to the front desk. But I digress, overall it was okay, I just couldn’t sleep and as usual there was nothing on tv that interested me. For me, I’ll give them a solid 5 outta 10.

Motel 6 Studio in Texarkana

I loved staying at the Motel 6 Studio in Texarkana. It is quiet, secluded, and above all,very friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and clean.

clean, simple, basic. affordable place to sleep, clean. the microwave and stove hood did not work. the toilet flushed extremely slowly, multiple flushes to get a small piece of tissue to go down- thinking maybe old pipes. i tested the microwave out in other outlets, and it was dead. fridge was great. tv fine, felt clean and comfortable in bed. i would stay again, because of the great price.

The pics do not tell the real story!

I was happy with check in and the staff but my room was disappointing. It did not even come close to the pics online and I got the deluxe room! Terrible conditions in my room!

Maybe i got a dingy room?

It could use some improvements as far as the upkeep of the room. The bathroom wasn't very appealing and I definitely didn't take a bath in there. I'd say the most fascinating part was the actual room room key, although I believe they should have explained how to use it.

Dirty!!

Sheets and towels were stained including blood stains. Comforters had holes. Walls of bathroom were stained. Hotel was in disrepair. Hotel staff was courteous and very nice.

Good stop - missed the pool

The size of the room was great, as was having the refrigerator, which we used, and kitchenette, which we did not. My daughter was disappointed, however, that the pool was out of service.

Reserve with caution!

Terrible experience! Not at all as advertised! Pictures are misleading. We had to switch 2 rooms before we were able to settle for the night! The first one reaked cigarette smell even though our reservation was for non smoking room. The second one the bathroom toilet did not work. Third room was ok. Nothing more!

The book in the room said this place had breakfast that was the 1st lie. The air conditioner barely worked so the room was hot.

Old worn out place, of the 200 about rooms only 6 cars on property, we herd people arguments till 3am.

Flying insects... Non smoking room

Lots of Flying insects, smelled like smoking room but room indicates non smoking. Dirty ugly sofa that has burn hole. Black small insect and mosquitos. I went outside for fresh air but for some reason the air stinks. I ended up checking out early and slept in the car. Health department needs to inspect this. Needs renovation, peeling paint, defective shower. Never again. Expedia should not sell this hotel. Reception has musty smell. I hope Expedia will refund me

Hotel does not even have a sign

Listed as 2.5 stars, does not merit 1. The hotel does not have any hotel or branding and is not visible from the highway. The non-smoking room reeked of smoke. The sink in the changing area was cracked. The beds were both obviously old and you could feel the springs shift as the mattress collapsed under your weight. The wall mounted air conditioning did work but took a long time to adjust room temperature. A hotel chain obviously abandoned this old property and the current owners did not invest. I would ask the website owners to visit this property and reset the star rating to the appropriate level (of 1).

Not luxury

The room smelled bad. Tried to use the microwave, had to unplug the tv's extention cord to plug in microwave. Still did not work. Tried to call the front desk, the phone did not work. Walked to front desk and manager wanted us to move to a different room, no, bring a different microwave and fix the phone. Problem was fixed. Would not stay here again.

Convenient located hotel

This hotel is very conveniently located right off the main highway and within easy walking distance of several good restaurants. The hotel's staff is friendly and efficient. The room is decently clean. No frills. Plan on eating breakfast somewhere else; even the coffee was scarce...but it's a nice place to stay overnight.
