We had a villa with a private pool it was incredible. Couldn’t have wished for anything more, except the construction noise through the day of the building next door was a nuisance,

While the resort itself was beautiful, I was uncomfortable with some interactions involving drivers. One driver quoted me a transfer price much higher than the rate later confirmed directly by the resort and suggested using a relative for transportation instead. I ultimately chose a ride through Grab because I preferred the transparency, tracking, and accountability of the app. I also experienced a few comments/interactions from drivers that felt overly personal or suggestive and did not feel professional to me as a solo traveler.
