"The room was right along the road and you could hear traffic all night long. Even using a speaker with background noise, it was very loud in the room. We did not get any sleep that night. The room was cutely decorated, but you could tell it was done a few years back. There was dust on the ceiling fan fixture, the blades and any surface. The room really needs a deep cleaning. "Silver Lake is a beautiful location and having cabins to rent on the lake side is pretty special. The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. But when we checked in they charge me for the room even though I had paid for it . I had to find my credit card bill to show I had paid for the room. Once I showed them my credit card statement they refunded the money...

"Did not realize there was no air conditioner. It was fine for the time of year we went but not if it was any hotter they provide fans but they make a lot of noise all night. The property was very affordable and close to everything we needed."

"The building is older and inside the hallways and elevator you can tell it’s old. However, the rooms are updated, clean and functional. Bed was comfy. They have little balconies but I wouldn’t go out there because you’re about 4 feet from your neighbors balcony. Nice and close to the lake and restaurant/game place. I’d stay there again if I could get a better rate."
