Anfahrt von Palermo ziemlich kurvig und steil. Ein schönes Dorf, tolle Aussicht von Zimmerbalkon und Restaurant. Sehr freundliches Personal. Zimmer in Ordnung. Essen sehr gut. Parkplatz vorhanden.

I booked a standard room for 2 nights - the only available at the time of booking. Whilst the hotel location is great - right by the beach, walking distance to Cefalu and has parking for an extra EU 15/day, the furniture in the room is old and chipped, the mattresses are also old, hard and uncomfortable and uneven with age, the mini fridge barely works (I was told it's due to the fact that it is not a conventional fridge), there is no tea/coffee facilities in the room, and nothing in the fridge. There are no glasses for drinking and despite a 'sustainability' pamphlet in the bathroom, there are 4 plastic lined paper cups individually wrapped in plastic in the bathroom - I suppose in case you wanted to drink some water. The air conditioner has not been cleaned in ages - the dust is visibly clumped to the blades. When I asked for a non plastic glass at the bar downstairs, I got a very unfriendly " why do you want that?" . I was asked by the receptionist after I checked into the room how I liked my room. When I told him it is unexpectedly old, with chipped furniture, a fridge that does not work and not worth the price I was charged, he said " well, but you have a good view". It seems the hotel is trading solely on it's location. Overall, not value for money and a great pity as it could be a great hotel, if only the owners cared to make it so.
