A wonderfully four days in Te anua. The property was perfect for needs. Heat pump. Great WiFi connection. Quite tucked away, yet walking distance for town or the lake front. The host was great to communicate with and happy to be a bit flexible around our requirements. The great weather helped too.

A great time in Te Anau! In a quiet suburb within 5 minutes walking distance of Te Anau proper; restaurants, shops, the lake, the Real NZ visitor center and other activity providers. Small but clean with comfortable beds and a good heating unit (bathroom too) and fireplace, great for our 5 adult group in early spring. Kitchen got the job done the couple of dinners and breakfasts we cooked. Thanks for having us!

Neat & tidy cottage, very clean, easy to heat. Central to Te Anau's main shopping area & easy walk to the lake front. Older house but more than adequate for our enjoyable stay over the weekend. Very well equipped. Would very happily stay here again.Glenys

Great home and location

52 Matai St was everything we needed for our short stay in Te Anau. Warm and inviting right in the heart of town. A short and easy walk to the town centre and the lake.Will definitely be back when we can!!!

Perfect spot

Loved this cosy cottage with comfy beds, a lovely view and a generously stocked pantry (which a lot of places overlook). Great communication with our host - we'd definitely day again.

Fantastic stay

Leigh’s property was fantastic. The house was warm and had everything we needed - and more! The bed was so comfy my partner and I wanted to take it home! Location was great too. Honestly, couldn’t rave about this place enough.

Great location!

The home is basic but clean and was great for our group of 5 people. Just one block to the main shopping/restaurant area and 2-3 blocks to the lake. Would recommend if you are spending time in Milford Sound and aren't high maintenance.

Family Milford sound

Good place to stay. We stayed a couple of nights. Easily walkable into town. Appreciated the washing machine. Only suggestion; it would have been nice to have some outside chairs to sit on.
