In the summer, you can have the doors open to watch the children run around on the generous front lawn, while you enjoy a cold beer or glass of wine.

With three bedrooms, one bathroom and an additional toilet, Boat Harbour House comes fully equipped with everything you need during your escape to Fiordland. Unwind in the lovely sitting area and dining room, opening onto the sunroom. Boat Harbour House will charm you with the beautiful and unique indoor garden! There's also a generous garden outside as well as an outdoor dining area, perfect for classic kiwi BBQs in the evening sun.

Bring your boat and make the most of the parking space and distance to the harbour, where there is also a lovely swimming spot. And you'll be just a few minutes walk to the town centre and children’s playground.

Fiordland is one of the Southern Hemisphere’s great wilderness regions, abundant with stunning natural features and exceptional beauty. Home to Mitre Peak, the stunning fiords of Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound, the beautiful lakeside town of Manapouri is a 15mins drive away and with the Kepler, Milford and Routeburn Tracks nearby, you won't be short of adventures to enjoy!

The property had the feel of an old family home that no-one had lived in for many, many years. The stove top wouldn't heat any of the pans, the oven smoked A LOT the one time we tried to use it probably because there were no baking dishes/pans so the inside was filthy, the pantry was full of expired food, and there were pots in the cupboard with an inch of water in the bottom. We really liked the fireplace, it was nice that they supplied wood. The place was spacious with plenty of room for everyone. The water was hot even if the pressure was only ok. The people were relitavely responsive to my emails although they seemed confused that we were having problems. All up, I wouldn't recommend staying here for the price they're charging. Way too much for a non-functioning stove and no wi-fi.
