Villa Rosa is an elegant and charming 2 bedroom villa set in a property (Quinta) with its own matured gardens and private pool and panoramic views over Vale Formoso Valley snd Tavira .
Vale Formoso means Beautiful!.
There is also a shaded covered terrace (pergola) around the house and the pool area is all covered in the traditional Portuguese Calçada. Square Stone cobblers.
The orange or other exotic trees (such as mangos) avocados , pomegranates, figs , almonds , apple s, prunes , percimons, lemons , mulberry, Etc . etc , are within reach when in season , to make lovely fresh juice whenever you feel like drinking it. The surroundings are natural beauty and the perfect place to get away for seclusion and privacy. To discover the nature or the surroundings, a nice walk to a lovely church, Senhora da Saude, or it is great to walk along Rio Gilão ( or Sequa) if you are a good walker you can discover the unspoiled countryside where you will find small waterfalls and ponds. The local flora its abundant with majestic and sometimes many centuries old such trees as carob or olive trees . Almond trees- they look dry , during the Summer, to blossom with delicate white flowers between January and end of March - or with the very vibrant colors of the orange trees and bougainvilleas everywhere. Enjoy a holiday with comfort and the feel of perfect luxury at this Villa at about 5 /10 minutes drive to Tavira. or 35 minutes to Faro airport, 1,30 h to Seville, 2 hours to Lisbon .

Villa Rosa has free WiFi lots of books and videos , with extra large plasma television and satellite with news , films and sports channels.

If inclined to use the leisure time to see all the movies that you always wanted to see or to read while relaxing by the pool in sun chairs or under the generous shade of olive and carob tree .

Villa Rosa is very cosy and comfortable to come during the Winter or Spring season.

Open Fire.place in the living/room and with air conditioning units for heating in the house the villa will be warm and cosy even on chilly Winter nights.

Since you understand English so well, and it is so much easier for me to write English than Portuguese, I take the liberty of writing these lines in English!
First of all to confirm that the stay I had at Villa Rosa together with my childhood friend the two last weeks of April this year just confirmed the positive impression I had previously had of the house, the surroundings and the charming town of Tavira itself!!
The peace and quietness of the house, the handy proximity to Tavira and the endless possibilities of activities on the Algarve Coast makes Villa Rosa an ideal vacation spot!! It was really one of the best vacations I have had in a long time!!

Perfection location. Peaceful and quiet but with easy, quick access to Tavira. Everything we needed at the villa to relax and recharge our batteries. The villa is very comfortable with lovely outdoor space and a nice pool. Dina was amazingly kind and helpful and responded quickly when we needed advice and patient when we locked ourselves out of the villa!! We have had a wonderful holiday. We very much hope to visit again next year.

Have have just spent a wonderful week in Villa Rosa. The location was perfect. Close to Tavira, yet set in a beautiful, quiet, peaceful and private location. The villa had everything we could possibly need. Plenty of outside space to sit in the sun or shade and the sunbeds were so comfortable. The views were lovely and the sunrise and sunsets were spectacular! We used Uber, but we tended to walk a lot of the time. There are some fabulous trails straight from the doorstep. Camnho Vale Formoso is on All Trails. We saw eagles, storks, vultures, kites, Sparrow Hawk, a Little Owl, Jays to name but a few. We also walked to Tavira following the lovely river and got an Uber back. Despite the walk being mostly on the road, it was straightforward and we were in Tavira in about half an hour. Most would benefit from a car, however, we like to walk and enjoy a nice meal and a bottle of wine in the evening, therefore we loved having the quiet space of the villa but being close enough to enjoy Tavira too. The ferry to Tavira Island was cheap and so worth it. The beach is lovely there with some great restaurants. We have absolutely loved our stay. Dina is the perfect host. Great communication and she was so helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. We can’t recommend this villa enough. Thank you Dina.

The hosts were lovely, spoke Engish well and were extremely accommodating. The villa was rustic and traditional. It had everything we needed though. The linens were clean, the bathrooms and kitchen were clean. We would’ve liked softer beds and a little more luxury in the pillows, villa amenities, but we understand at this price point and countryside location, this is what you get. The furniture, both indoors and outdoors, along with kitchen equipment, outdoor cooking/eating area, lounge chairs, could all stand an update. The pool was nice, just the right size for two of us. The gardens were wild and lovely, I continue to fight the urge to do weeding, tidying up, cutting back, etc. As a gardener myself can appreciate the amount of work that goes into keeping up with it. The orchard that’s attached provided beautiful fresh citrus, and figs. It’s definitely off the beaten path, and very quiet. You absolutely need a car, which we had. Use the coordinates to get to it instead of directions, as Google and Apple apps had a tough time getting it right.

Das Ferienhaus hat ein typisch portugiesiches Flair und liegt inmitten eines sehr gepflegten Gartens. Jetzt im April blühten viele Blumen und wir konnten frisch gepflückte Orangen aus dem Garten genießen. Es ist sehr ruhig ausserhalb des Ortes Tavira gelegen mit einem wunderbaren Blick über Plantagen. Im Garten und auf der Terasse gibt es liebevoll eingerichtete und dekorierte Sitzgelegenheiten.Die Küche ist vollständig ausgerüstet inclusive Backofen und Tiefkühlschrank und war gut zu benutzen.Im April stand für uns der Strandurlaub nicht im Vordergrund, aber wir sind viel gewandert und haben kleine und größere Orte der Umgebung erkundet. Tavira ist ein bezauberndes Städtchen, dass zum Bummeln und Schlemmen einlädt.

Staying here was a real treat. The weather was glorious and so we were able to enjoy the pool. Picking our own oranges to juice each morning was a wonderful treat. The location and views were stunning. The kitchen was well equipped but could do with a little tlc as a few drawer knobs were loose. However we really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you Dina

De charmante villa ligt heel rustig en is goed uitgerust. De tuin en het zwembad worden goed onderhouden.Het weer was wat minder zodat we niet volop van de terrassen hebben kunnen genieten. Een verwarmingselement in de keuken zou in maart welkom zijn. Sommige keukenpannen zijn aan vervanging toe. Bedankt Dina voor ons gezellig verblijf in de villa Arlette en Jean Pierre

This was our second time staying in Villa Rosa. We were there for two weeks and it is a special place. A well equipped villa in a very quiet and private setting surrounded by beautiful gardens and orchards. Dina, the property manager, is the best. She is lovely and was always there to help with anything we needed. We highly recommend Villa Rosa if you are looking for beauty and tranquility for your next visit to Tavira.

An excellent holiday, in a 5 star villa. The accommodation was superb, so comfortable, with all mod cons. Peaceful location, excellent swimming pool. Some lovely walks in the countryside, a car is essential due to location, but the villa is within easy reach of golf courses, beaches and the lovely town of Tavira. Highly recommended.

Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sauber und es fehlte uns an nichts. Es liegt etwas außerhalb von Tavira, sehr ruhig mit einem fantastischen Ausblick und privaten Pool. Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen und können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Inside, the house was very comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Great bathrooms. It's quite remote, so you can't walk to restaurants or shops, but you get complete peace and privacy, with a glorious outside space.

Den Einrichtungen des Anwesens sieht man seine viele Ferienwohnungsjahre deutlich an. Eine Beseitigung/Erneuerung unbrauchbarer Gegenstände ist ebenso angebracht wie wie eine umfassende Renovierung. Das Betreuungspersonal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
