Our Master bedroom features a King size memory foam bed, Flat Screen 55" 4KHD SMARTTV, fresh crispy clean sheets and Open Ocean views on balcony. Brand new A/C Feb. 2025. Our Guest bedroom has a Queen bed with a 40" HD LED SMART TV. Full ocean views from our well equipped kitchen and living room too. Living room has 60" LED SMART TV, GREAT FOR SPORTS OR MOVIES. Our location offers direct open ocean access to world class fishing and diving along with local parks and recreation. Kayak rentals will bring the kayaks to you at the condo and pickup when you are done. Enjoy a day on the water.
Have dinner inside or by candle light on your large balcony or choose from many of our world famous restaurants close by. Wireless internet keeps you in contact with the rest of the world. Let the tropical breeze caress you right in the Heart of Margaritaville.

Property is directly on the open water so you can take a dip in the pool overlooking the ocean, have an oceanfront picnic or launch your kayak from the beach. Our clubhouse offers an exercise room, game area and soon, a new gym.

Great stay and host

David and his wife were great at staying in touch and were very available to answer questions. The complex is really nice and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Beds were comfortable and actually the pull out couch was the most comfortable pull out my daughter said she ever slept on (foam instead of that terrible wire/thin mattress). Beach is not a typical beach access but does have access to the water. The pool however was so nice and very large. Would definitely stay again.

Family Birthday Fun

Not the best of start, due to issues with email communication. Very glad owners were on property at our arrival. Condo was clean, very good location and nice. The High School was a little bit of a pain with sport activities during the wedk(loud). Was my brother in laws and husbands Birthday that week and we did have a very good time.

The ideal break from reality

Stayed the last week in January. Waters were a bit cool for snorkeling, however my wife paddle boarded every day. She visited with residential manatees & sea turtles on a daily basis. We fished out of Bud & Mary's Marina catching enough fish to eat for 3 nights. We had the Islamorada Fish Co. Restaurant prepare some of our catch the 1st night and cooked the rest back at the condo serving it on the balcony overlooking the ocean, The place we stayed at was immaculate, the kitchen had everything you would need, just had to do some grocery shopping (Winn Dixie 2 miles away). Overall, it was a very relaxing retreat. The sunrise from the balcony was breath taking. The pool was heated & the residents at the Sea Gull Condo were welcoming and sociable.

Very warm home

The decor and colors were very warm and welcoming. Would have been nice to know prior to booking that the laundry was not in the unit but coun operated down the hall.Was a few extra steps with paperwork but owner was good to work with.

Florida Keys Vacation

We had a wonderful time! Location was perfect to visit the various Keys & activities! Shopping was great, seafood was great. Enjoyed the pool a few times, nice, clean & quiet. Very secure and safe.

Birders at the Condo

We stayed at the condo from April 8 through April 22, 2023. The condo had all the promised amenities and the owner was very responsive to requests for information. He even supplied an extra amenity not normally provided with most rentals (thanks Dave!). We would recommend the condo for anyone wanting to visit areas around the upper keys. We are birders and used the condo as a base of operations for visiting the many state parks along US Route 1. As such, we did not make use of the Sea Gulls amenities such as the clubhouse, pool, or the beach. As it turned out, one of the best spots to watch birds was the condo balcony. The balcony looks out on the Atlantic Ocean as well as a small mangrove area next to the beach. I saw 54 species of birds from the balcony, including Magnificent Frigatebird, Brown Pelican, Royal Tern, White Ibis, Common Myna, White-crowned Pigeon, to name a few. Even the sports field of the nearby school occasionally had birds, especially on one rainy day, where a few shorebirds plied the flooded field (e.g., Killdeer, Black-bellied Plover, White Ibis).

A very nice stay in Tavernier

The condo was as advertised. Very clean, spacious, and nice view of the ocean from the balcony. Our only hiccup was the property manager was supposed to send me an email with access codes and how to pick up a key fob to access the pool and common area doors. We called David and he was able to get us the info and to find someone to get us a key fob. Communication with David was always quick, easy and efficient. The area has plenty of restaurants and we also made a day trip to Key West. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay again.

Great getaway!

This was our first time staying in the keys after spending several years in Ft. Myers beach.After realizing how different it would be, we really appreciated the beauty, the perfect weather and the uniqueness of this area. The condo was very comfortable, spacious, very clean, had every tool we needed in the kitchen. Lovely pool with beautiful surroundings. Beautiful sunrises over the beach area.So many delicious restaurants, although sometimes the traffic was pretty rough! We did have to put up with painting and some other construction noise disruptions. Not being able to use a balcony when the view and weather were so gorgeous was very frustrating! Hopefully, that won’t be an issue for future guests. It really is a great property and lovely condo.

The good and the bad

The unit was lovely, clean, and had everything we needed - except the balcony. Unfortunately during the 1st 5 days of our stay a construction project meant no deck access. The owner had let us know, but only a couple week ahead of time, and he did make a price adjustment to compensate. Other than the construction, everything was great, huge pool, sandy area near the water (but not really a swimming beach). We wouldnt hesitate to return.

Beautiful property except for construction

The inside of the condo is beautiful. Very nice furniture and appliances. The guest bed was comfortable, the master bed was not. Also the master bedroom gets VERY hot at night with the door shut. The kitchen is well stocked. Lots of towels are provided. View from the balcony is ok. You can see the water, but also power lines. We were able to see dolphins playing in the water from the balcony. Checkout process was super easy. Check in was a little rough. We did not get an email notification on how to access the condo in advance from owner or condo manager as per the vrbo notification. Had to call owner to get codes. Apparently his computer was being fixed so he didnt send us any info prior to arrival. He gave me the code to the building and the lockbox but failed to tell us how to get the driveway gate to open. Thankfully someone else staying here happened to be walking through and helped us. We had no idea where the condo managers office was. And by the time we found it they were gone. Because the manager was gone, we couldn't get a wristbands and more importantly the key fob to open the pool gates and game room. The manager is only there from 12 to 5, not 9 to 1 like the book in the condo said so we couldn't access the pool/game room until 1/2 through the 2nd day. The deadbolt was very sticky and hard to unlock. We stopped using it while staying here because we were afraid a key would break off. Beach was basically unusable because of construction work being done on the balconies on the beach side. We had no notice of the construction. Construction noise started early, around 7am. It was constant beeping and jackhammering. We didn't stick around the property too long becauseof this, which was unfortunate because the majority of the reason we chose this was for the private beach and pool. I also would suggest the condo (not the owner) add some lounge chairs to the beach. Not just plastic upright chairs to go with the 1 table on the beach. The table could also stand to be replaced as it was kind of falling apart and pretty rusty. There was also a very sharp metal strip about 2 inches wide and the length of the balcony right outside the doors. I'm not sure the purpose but use caution so you don't cut your foot. It's worse than stepping on a Lego. Overall if it hadn't been for the construction I think we would have had a much nicer time. With a few updates this could definitely be a 5 star place!
