Escape to Pickles Reef [Ocean Pointe 1212]

Enjoy affordable fun at our cheeky condo within Building 1 at Ocean Pointe Suites in the Tavernier!
Our property is centrally located to many restaurants, shopping, and dive shops. Wonderful location to spend time with family, friends, or business. Amenities include Free Parking, High-Speed WiFi, Fully equipped kitchen- Washer and dryer. Self check-in anytime after 4pm.

Upon entering the home you’ll be greeted by island design and the vibrant colors of the ocean and mangrove forest. The open concept LIVING SPACE has a queen sleeper sofa, flat screen TV and table for 4. The KITCHEN is fully equipped with all dishes, glass and cookware. The breakfast bar provides additional seating for 2. The MASTER bedroom has a king bed with a flatscreen TV and an ensuite bath with a step-in shower. The GUEST bedroom has a queen bed and the guest bath is easily accessible from the hall. For your convenience, an in-suite LAUNDRY center so no laundromats for this vacation!

Enjoy all the resort amenities from sun up to sun down including:

- 24/7 Front Gate Security
- Beach access from the property (beach chairs are provided)
- Junior-Olympic-size outdoor pool and a 14-person Jacuzzi hot tub.
- Loungers, umbrellas by the pool; towels in the condo
- Two private Tennis/ Pickleball courts
- Several charcoal BBQ stations throughout the property;
- 2 Parking spots per reservation
- On-site MARINA (up to 28ft boats). Slip rental is available.
The Marina reservations need separate arrangements and ARE NOT guaranteed with accommodations reservations; depending on availability. Any Boat Slip/Marina reservations must be arranged separately with the dock-master.

Located in Tavernier, between Keys Largo and Islamorada, Ocean Pointe Suites at Key Largo is on a private pocket beach. Captain Slates Dive Center and Tavernier Creek Marina are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Indian Key Historic State Park and Harry Harris Park. Founders Park and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park are also worth visiting.

Discover the area's water adventures with kayaking and scuba diving nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with hiking/biking trails and ecotours. Tavernier is a great choice for travelers interested in kayaking, scenery, fishing, diving, sunsets and an all around wonderfully relaxing time!

Family get away

Our stay was great. Family of 5, 2 adults, 21 yr old, 16 and 14 yr old boys. The condo fit us. We did use the pull out couch. (The mattress could be replaced) our peek a boo view was just that but we were able to see the sunrise. The condo was clean and well stocked. It was easy to contact the owner. Check in was easy. We felt safe and grounds were well maintained.We were excited to see the pool snack hut and beach restaurant open. They had a decent happy hour but food was very disappointing. It’s too bad we probably would have eaten there a few times if they had just decent food.We enjoyed the small beach area. The boys snorkled and fished from the rocks. The pier was a relaxing spot. The pool and hot tub were clean and their music was great. We would definitely return in the future.

Very nice place, especially for the price

The pool is very nice. The grounds are, too. It's about a 10-minute walk to the bike/walking path that runs along Florida 1.I didn't make it to the ocean, but it is slightly visible from the property.

Freaking Fantastic

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The sunsets were immaculate, the pool was lovely, the cherry on top was having YoYo's Burger's food truck parked outside the pool area. We rented local ebikes for two days to just zoom around since my boyfriend and I were staying without a vehicle for a few days. Windixie was so closely nearby that the ebike ride there was surprisingly pleasant and not as stressful as I had figured it might have gone. Thank you for our stay!!!

The apt was spacious for the 3 of us and very quiet. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking which was great! Pool towels available and lots of shower towels. We loved the pool - large size with lots of umbrellas and lounge chairs. Busy but never an issue getting a lounger. Largo was responsive to questions and booking, check in and out was easy. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Communication with the Owner was top notch. The fact that the instructions are sent ahead of time and very detailed help to make our arrival and departure easier. The place could use a little updating, but overall we would stay here again and recommend. The pool area, tennis courts and little beach area are great. Access to groceries, shopping, scuba diving and restaurants are very easy and plentiful.

This is a great property in a great location. We stayed only a couple nights here due to other time constraints with work but really wished we could’ve stayed there longer. The owner was extremely nice and helpful and communicated very well with us before, during and after our stay. The property was very clean and secure as they have an actual gate and guard you must pass through before you come on the property. My only regret in the whole situation was not getting to stay longer, will plan to return in the future.

Great Central Location & Amenities

The Condo was just as advertised, the amenities on the property were very nice. Loved watching the sunrise from the gazebo at the end of the boardwalk. The location was close to Islamorada and Key Largo with a grocery store and a Circle K very close by. Getting to John Pennecamp & Bahia Honda was easy. Lots of great food places to try. Coco Plum was a favorite for vegetarian and awesome deserts and Mango & Chocolate Habanero sauce. The owners recommendation of Morada Bay Beach Cafe would be good for any occasion, but especially for our anniversary. Highly recommend.

PERFECT GETAWAY!!!

The fact that each bedroom had two bathrooms were such a plus, but the place was perfect and great clean and our hose was unbelievable. I was checking to make sure we were OK. I highly recommend staying here and I know I’m definitely coming back. If you come to the keys, you have to go to Robbys it’s a Islamorada get a bloody Mary call trailer trash. It’s the best drink ever besides effect in Manatee you there every evening.

Cute unit, comfortably sleeps 4 but can do 6 with pull out sofa. Nice pool, beach has a lot of the brown seaweed so not very swim-able. Owner is great, communicates continuously with suggestions and if you have any concerns. Highly recommend!

RELAXING IN THE SUN

Overall the property was very nice. Clean & well stocked. NIce location with grocery stores nearby. It was perfect for our family of 3 to get away & relax. We had a small hiccup with the key code upon arrival but was able to resolve it within minutes. The only small complaint was the bed was uncomfortable - it needs a new mattress. It had two body divets that you got stuck in and made it difficult to turn & a hump in the middle of the body divets. Like I said minor - second bedrooms bed was much more comfortable. Had a nice pool & beach area - we would consider this property again.
