We really enjoyed our stay in this property.The large picture windows has wonderful views of Taupo township, lake and mountains.It is spacious warm, with heated tiles, heatpump and fire.The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped.The covered in patio is great for outside dining and relaxing.The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped.This is the cleanest property we have ever stayed in...attention has been paid to deep cleaning and is is well maintained.The decor is very tasteful.Great idea having the TV in a separate room, away from the living areas...allows for great interaction with other, without the disturbance of other noise and distraction in the background.It has a wonderful selection of books, magazines, games jigsaws.It is within walking distance to Waikato river Taupo's main street. It is located close to a main road....the windows are double glazed, so you don't hear traffic noise while in the living areas. Unfortunately you do upstairs in the master bedroom. Bring earplugs if you need a peaceful sleep, but you do get use to it after awhile. The garage is not available for guests (we knew this from the start). It would be handy to use for bikes etc. However, you can access the back of the property, with a gate off the driveway. Overall, a great place and would highly recommend for others to stay in.
