"Lovely, well appointed home right on the water. We loved sitting out in the back and watching the eagles, seals and even otters. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has all the basics ready for you. We did not venture out to Hoodsport, but there are restaurants, coffee shop, etc within walking distance. Would love to visit again in the future!"

"All rooms were clean. Kitchen was stocked with essential equipment for a comfortable stay. Portable A/C unit for downstairs and portable fans for bedrooms. Placed fans at windows in bedrooms and they cooled rooms like an A/C unit as the weather is getting cooler. Washer/Dryer units were very useful and convenient. Detergent pods/dryer sheets were provided. Very close to grocery stores and downtown Port Orchard. Host was very quick to communicate whenever we had questions, and accommodating. "

"The view is outstanding and the house is clean and comfortable. Everything worked fine (we didn't use the sauna). Be aware that there are several sets of stairs to access the beach, and the side road to access the house from Hwy 101 is a bit dicey. The neighborhood is quiet, and you are only a short walk away from Dosewallips State Park, the Geoduck Bar and Grill, and the Halfway House Restaurant (which was very good). "We very much enjoyed our stay at Fair Haven. The house was clean and well appointed. The kids loved having the upstairs room all to themselves and played as much foosball as video games. We also enjoyed the sauna and picking oysters fresh from the beach.The home was dog friendly; if you have a dog who needs a lot of walking there's not much space along the shoulder of the highway, so be prepared to drive to a dog park in nearby Belfair. We all wished that we had more time and better weather so...
