Bring your extended family and enjoy this roomy 6 bedroom home in Dollar Point. This home is an ideal place for a happy vacation! Featuring two living areas and two sides of the home, this house is well situated for two families that can each have their own space. Bring your dog so the whole family can enjoy the spacious fenced-in backyard!

After entering through the sizable two car garage or front door, you will find a living area, dining area and kitchen in the front part of the home. Off the breakfast nook in the kitchen is a king bedroom with a full bath and laundry in the hall.

Towards the back of the home there is a second living area and dining area combined with a working fireplace. Stairs lead up to the west wing bedrooms that features a full bath and two bedrooms; one with two bunk beds and another with a queen. The east upstairs wing has a separate stairwell at the front of the house. This area has a hallway bath and three bedrooms; one with two twins, another with a queen, and the master King bedroom and bath.

This home is close to skiing, downtown Tahoe City and there is nearby fun for everyone to enjoy.

Must be at least 25 years old to rent.

Prior approval is required to bring more than one dog to any dog-friendly property. All dogs must be at least one year old and must not be left unattended at the property unless crate trained. No pets other than dogs are allowed at any of our pet-friendly properties (no cats, birds, ferrets, etc.).

*PLEASE NOTE: If you are bringing a dog to our dog friendly property there is an additional fee of $100+tax per dog.

Our properties do not have air conditioning.

Please note that this property has a noise devise that monitors excessively loud noises per county compliance.

BBQs are not provided during winter months (November to Memorial Day)

•QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 9PM TO 8AM. NO NOISE SHALL BE HEARD ACROSS PROPERTY LINES. NO OUTDOOR SPEAKERS OR AMPLIFIED SOUND ARE TO BE USED AT ANY TIME.
•DOGS MUST BE LEASHED AT ALL TIMES WHEN OUTSIDE OF A PROPERTY AND ALL PET WASTE NEEDS TO BE PICKED UP.
•PARKING IS LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING NUMBER OF SPACES: 4 - STREET PARKING IS PROHIBITED YEAR-ROUND.

It’s different to find rentals that offer the space this rental did. Our family likes individual space and we had it. The house is sort of weird. Like two houses connected by a kitchen and dining room. The back half has a dining room/family room with large screen tv. Upstairs is a queen room, 2 bunk bed room and bathroom/shower.The front part of the house has a living room, king room and bathroom/shower/laundry room. Upstairs is a queen edroom, twin bed bedroom, bathroom with tub/shower and a Master Suite with private bathroom. There is a garage in which fits a compact suv and perhaps a smart car. Four compact suvs can fit in the driveway. All parking must be off street so definitely only 2 BIG cars/trucks could fit in the driveway.The kitchen had about everything one would need. The large dining table in the back part of the house could fit 10 if 2 individuals sat at each end. There was also a deck with a table and chairs just outside the back section of the house. Great access to biking, hiking and walking trails. Tahoe City is just 2 miles down the road. We hit the Farmers Market in Tahoe City, Thunderbird Lodge, the Donner Tunnels, the trail from Incline to Sand Harbor and family members biked and hiked in the area. The tub/shower didn’t function correctly and that was reported to the rental company. The garage door opener didn’t work upon arrival and immediately a replacement was delivered. We had a great time and you will too.

Great for large group

Very comfortable for 3 generations of family. Easy to feel at home in this cabin with a large yard. No problems with wi-fi. Dog friendly!!!

Lake Tahoe Vacation House

The house was beautiful and perfectly sized for the three families that stayed there. It is conveniently located near Tahoe City and some hiking trails. I would stay here again.

Family vacation

We really enjoyed the ease with the check in process and Katie gave us great customer service. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed to make our vacation a great one. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything from any size pan you could need to spices, dish towels, and even various can and bottle openers. It seems that they took extra care to make sure the house was equipped with almost anything that you could need to make your stay a comfortable one. Being a pet friendly house was a great plus for us. The location was perfect and it was a great central location to various outdoor activities. Our family trip was was made better because of the place we stayed.

Amazing winter getaway home

My parents, nephews, my husband & I all went on this 4 day trip together. The kids were sooo excited & were so amazed at the size of this house & loved they could play in the snow in the backyard as much as they wanted. Grocery stores & little shops were all nearby which was great too. I would definitely recommend staying here & am hopeful we will be able to take this trip again next year.

Property worked great for our 2 sons and families. However was a little disappointed on the homeowners upkeep of the house. Carpets bottom bedroom and stairs were in much need of cleaning. A few minor pick me ups (painting) would make this a much more desirable place. Rental agency was great to work with Great location

Great space for two families - and a wonderful yard!

We enjoyed our stay at the Dollar Lodge! While the home is in need of some deep cleaning and updating, the bones were great, and having 6 bedrooms and 4 baths gave our two families plenty of room to comfortably spread out! The yard was fantastic - room to sit in the sun, play cornhole and other games - very nice!

Perfect for a friends weekend away

All in all, we had a great stay. I appreciated the timely communication via e-mail. Typically we would stay in So. LT, but this time, I am glad we were away from the hustle and bustle. It was calm, the weather could not have been better, and as a frontline essential worker; was exactly what I was hoping for. Many thanks for all tour efforts! Please, note: the cleaning crew showed up early, and starting their cleaning but I think they realized it and left without saying anything. We felt a bit rushed since our check out time was at 11am. No biggie, but next time those types of things should be crystal clear. Thanks again!

plenty of space for our large family

We stayed at the Dollar Point Lodge, Observation Dr., for 4 nights, celebrating a birthday. Our family of 14 had plenty of room with the 5 bedrooms and three baths. The kitchen is well equipped for any cooking or BBQ' that you may want to do and the house was clean and neat. We liked the fact that the back yard was fenced for our family dog and the smaller children. The access to the pool and wonderful beach are a real plus with a group and kids.

Excellent layout , spacious

What a beautiful house - spacious and modern, well equipped, clean, conveniently located. The separate bedroom areas, the two living rooms, two large screen tvs, make this perfect for family groups with varying ages and interests or for groups of friends. Plenty of privacy for each of our three families. We did have a toddler with us, so the sunken living room and steps created some challenges, but for children a bit older, just perfect. The pool in the development was delightful, too. We'd stay there again.

Perfect for multiple families!

We had 4 couples plus kids and this house was a perfect fit. The living room and family room are a great set up for a grownups and kids area...reading and relaxing in one room and games and fun in the other. The location is great, as well. A short distance to the community pool, 7-11 is right around the corner and only minutes from Safeway. We will definitely try to book this home again!
