Apollo House Holiday House in Ortigia - Syracuse

The Bilocale is a typical Sicilian dammus with a charming arch, restored in 2017, located in the heart of the island of Ortigia. Its central location will allow you to reach all the main destinations (Piazza Duomo, Fonte Aretusa, Castle Maniace, etc .) And to live the island fully.
Within walking distance you can take advantage of all services: pay parking 300mt., SOLARIUM 500mt., Bars, restaurants, pubs, pizzerias, car / boat / bike, taxi, shopping, electric shuttle connecting Ortigia to neapolis park And other destinations within Siracusa City, etc.
The apartment is located on the ground floor of a typical Orthodox street, suitable for families and elderly, air-conditioned, free wi-fi, for 2 or 4 people, consisting of a large living area with a sofa bed (sleeps 2 and a half), kitchen Fully equipped with everything and lcd tv, double bedroom with lcd tv, bathroom with shower and hairdryer on the wall, laundry with washer and washer, iron and board, bed linen and bath set included (with change option each 2/3 nights at a cost of € 10).
For infants there is a possibility of camping cot and free chair lift (to be requested when booking).

House Rules:

In the event of the keys being lost you will be asked € 50.
In respect of the guests who will follow your stay, pets are not allowed and smoking is not allowed.

Wonderful apartment beautifully appointed and equipped in a lovely area close to all restaurants etc. loved it! initially had difficulty locating the property - possibly suggest a sign outside the door would help. Or advanced notification of house number. Not a complaint just a constructive comment

The perfect vacation

Heaven in Ortigia! Carmelo was so kind and responsive. We loved every minute in this thoughtfully appointed, spacious and welcoming home. The location is ideal, with easy walking access to all of Ortigia’s beautiful sights and restaurants, as well as very easily accessible to Siracusa and the train/bus stations by cab (5 minutes, 15 Euro) or foot (15-20 mins). We will always remember our magical stay in Ortigia and we can’t wait to come back to Apollo House. Grazie!!

Holidays in syrakuse

We had a very pleasant stay at the apartment. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. It is a perfect apartment for two people in a quiet street in ortigia. Even though it is very quiet the market and the main street are just around the corner. We strongly recommend this apartment to everyone who loves to sleep at a quiet place but at the same time loves the charming atmosphere of a busy mediterranean city.

This property is a great access point to all of the action in Ortigia, from the lively market to nightlife. Easy ground floor access, well stocked kitchen, and comfortable accommodations. with great design elements. Best suited for couple not bothered by street noise looking for short term stay.

Wonderful, comfortable house in great location

The apartment was really great, with all the comfort for two people, all the necessary amenities, nicely decorated and spotless. Our hosts welcomed us with helpful suggestions for visiting the city, restaurants, beaches, shops and so on. I can't think of a better location, close to all the places of interest both in Ortigia and new Siracusa. We deeply enjoyed our privacy in this old building on a beautiful medieval street, quiet at night and with the usual rumour of the city during the day.

Cozy Flat in the Perfect Location

Apollo House is just steps away from the ancient ruins of the Temple of Apollo in Ortigia. It's easy to walk everywhere from this location, including up to mainland Siracusa and the Teatro Greco there. The big daily market is just a couple of blocks away, and there's a decent grocery store, as well as too many good restaurants to count. Martina very thoughtfully supplied so many things: coffee, sugar, bottled water, milk, pasta, sauce, plenty of toilet paper, washing detergent...in short, everything I needed to start off. The flat opens right onto the street, so you can hear passers-by; but after a couple of days it was not a problem, since I was usually out and about anyway. The house is spotless and recently renovated, with a good kitchen, immaculate bathroom, and good linens. She and her family were also extremely responsive to any question or concern that I had (including operation of the combination washer/dryer). Parking, which is at a premium in Ortigia, is a few blocks away and requires prepayment in coins at a kiosk. I rented a car in Siracusa for a few days to make excursions outside the city, rather than being saddled with a vehicle for the entire time, and this worked out better than renting at the airport in Catania. Apollo House was just perfect for me as a solo traveler, but would also work well for a couple looking for economical accommodations in this beautiful city.
