    UPPER UNIT: Perfectly positioned ON THE WATER in the heart of DOWNTOWN Sylvan Beach, located on Clifford Ave across from the Cove Resort and parallel to Eddie's restaurant on Main St. The Kayak Shack offers both tranquility and convenience — a quiet waterfront setting just steps from all the excitement of Sylvan Beach.

    SECOND (UPPER) FLOOR Features:
    Lakefront property with beautiful waterfront views
    Private boat (up to 45ft - available upon request only) and Jetski Dock
    Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, nightlife, amusement park, and Lake House Casino
    Large eat-in kitchen with full-size and small appliances, plus a Keurig
    Washer/dryer, shared grill, and spacious deck overlooking the water
    Kayaks available to use free of charge
    Wi-Fi and Cable TV
    Linens, towels, and outdoor chairs included
    Quiet, relaxing setting perfect for couples, families, or friends

    Water Access:
    Enjoy dock access for kayaking, fishing, or simply relaxing by the water. Please notify us if you plan to dock a boat during your stay. EZ Dock can dock one boat with a max length of 45 feet, and has a jet ski and kayak launch.

    Heating & Cooling:
    The home features a wall-mounted mini-split system and electric baseboard heaters for heat. For cooling, the main living area is air-conditioned with the mini-split, while the bedrooms have window units and ceiling fans to keep things comfortable.

    ***Please note: This home is a duplex, and each floor is rented separately.

    ***Stair Access to Second Floor:
    The second-floor unit is accessed by an outdoor staircase. Guests who have difficulty with stairs should review the listing photos carefully to ensure accessibility.

Beautiful place, thoughtfully decorated. The location was ideal for exploring the town and for heading to the beach. Watching the cranes fly past the deck as we had our morning coffee was a particularly wonderful treat.

We had a lovely stay. Pictures true to conditions. Kayaks and grill perfect for our needs. One suggestion that would make the stay even a notch better would be if the windows were cleaned after the long winter, given the beautiful views. Hot water doesn’t last too long, so space your showers if you visit. Would stay again!

Location was good would do earlier date as most places in Sylvan Beach close in middle of September.

Property was nice great view at canal, had everything that anyone should need overall it was very nice.

Great Property

This property was perfect for a weekend getaway. Property was clean and fixtures/furniture were modern and comfortable. Location was great as restaurants were all within walking distance. Owner was very responsive to all inquiries. Would definitely stay there again!

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful and comfortable apartment! Our family loved the use of the kayaks which was one of the reasons we chose this rental. The owner was very responsive and quick to meet any needs. Highly recommend staying here!

This property was perfect for my little family. It would be nice if there were a few more outdoor chairs on the second floor but we made it work. The property was clean and comfortable.

Sylvan Beach Nugget

This was our first VRBO experience and couldn’t be more pleased! Everything we needed was within a sort walking distance and the dock style and location was perfect for our 21’ boat. Plenty of room to park the truck and trailer on our side of the driveway

Thank you so much we had a great time, and the places was great! We made lots a great memories and can't wait to rebook with you guys! We would be interested in possibly renting out the whole house next time and bring up the whole family!!

A great family spot

We really enjoyed our stay! With two kids under 4, travel isn’t always easy but this rental was the perfect size for us and it had everything we needed. The location on the canal was nice and quiet and we had a great time exploring on the kayaks and sitting on the deck at night. It is a very short walk to the beach and all the other Sylvan spots. We hope to come back again soon.
