The Neighborhood:

Surry Hills is an inner-city suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. This neighbourhood is a creative central hub, home to the Brett Whiteley Studio and Belvoir St Theatre. Some of the city’s best organic cafés, lively pubs, fashionable wine bars, and hip boutiques can be found here.



Surry Hills Markets are held in Shannon Reserve at the corner of Crown and Collins Streets, on the first Saturday of every month, and the Surry Hills Festival is an annual community event, attracting tens of thousands of visitors, held in and around Ward Park, Shannon Reserve, Crown Street and Hill Street. The Surry Hills Library and Community Centre sits opposite Shannon Reserve and houses the local branch of the city library and the Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre.

The Eastern Distributor is a major road, on the eastern edge of the suburb which as your at Sydney international or domestic airports in 20 minutes.

Dirty smelly place. Noisy all day long. You cant open window if you not want feel like on street. Very very very soft bed. You cant sleep after 2 nights you brake your body. Dirty slipery dangerous bath. You have to be carreful. During 8 night their nit chance nothing. Worst was comunication with hometogo site and owners. Not give as chcek in informations so we with 4 havy bags was almost 3 hours runing around and i spen 100 eur to calling around. Terrible. And their event not give me appologise and alowed me to stay till 12.00 on check out. For that money you can stay in good hotel either.
