A very pleasant stay as a family - staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Had dinner and breakfast at the hotel too and both were excellent.

Breakfast was good, staff attentive and helpful. However, my room was serviced on my first night. I got back to the hotel and when entering my room, the bed hadn't been made, tea bags etc not replenished, bathroom not cleaned. I was most surprised as I haven't had this before.

Lovely place.

Nice place, lovely friendly staff, room was clean and modern, food was excellent, lovely sun trap beer garden out the back, we only had a one night stay as we were passing through but I'd happily stay there again.

Great welcome and service. Nice hotel.

We booked this last minute as a dog friendly hotel to meet friends. We were given a very warm welcome and staff were very hospitable and helpful throughout our visit. We stayed in Highgrove room which was a very good size and very clean. It was genuinely clean rather than chemically clean which you often find in dog friendly rooms. The food was very nice but the choice was restricted compared to the online menu.

Had a very nice stay at the highworth , would definately come back , the wifi wasn’t working or was just a bad signal , bought it to the attention of the staff and was told that too I was in has issues with signal strength from router , apart from the wifi issue everything else was very nice

All the staff were lovely. Friendly and helpful, nothing appeared to be too much trouble. The room itself was pleasant but far too hot and the fan was not adequate.

Lovely small comfortable hotel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Highworth Hotel, and I must say it was a delightful experience. We stayed in Room 4, which was exceptional. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the room was spotless, providing a perfect retreat I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay. Just a quick note for future guests: if you’re driving a larger vehicle, be cautious as the alley leading to the car park is quite narrow. A smaller car would be more manageable. Overall, we had a brilliant time at the Highworth Hotel and look forward to returning in the future!

The hotel room was clean & tidy, the lady on reception was very polite and helpful and even advised about the local amenities. I had a great nights sleep and have no complaints about the inside of the hotel at all. The only downside and is my biggest bug bear is the Free on site car park is an absolute nightmare. My VW Tiguan wouldn’t even fit down the passage, there was physically not enough space to drive down. I would recommend being honest on your advertisements and advising your car isn’t suitable for most modern cars. I always book my business hotel stays dependant on parking. If parking is not a must, I would highly recommend.

Would Come Back

Pros: On site Parking, Wi-fi, Quality Room - Bed and Bathroom, Well cleaned, good central location in Highworth. Night key if returning to room late. Good Customer Service from Hotel Management. Pleasant bar staff. Nice ambience in the evening. Niggles: TV freeview service in room with usual cable service options (Netflix, Amazon Prime etc) with sign in. No room booklet/instructions to explain how to access these services or whether they were paid for services. 30 min timer on extractor fan each time I used bathroom (I timed it). Breakfast. Pleasant but my non full English breakfast option looked sparce on the plate in comparison to the full breakfast option. Could do with beefing up. If Hotel hosting event rear carpark gets full and there is not convenient parking options nearby (offsite). Nearly couldn't park one night of my stay arriving 8.30pm.

This is an old Hotel and has such old staircases. Although situated on a busy road junction is very quiet inside. The evening dinner was excellent taken from a good menu

Overall good stay, bad service at breakfast

Beautiful hotel and amazing room! Nice and clean. Breakfast, got a coffee after 5 minutes of waking, had to wait another 20 minutes for the waiter to take my order. I had to leave as I had a meeting so missed breakfast. Only 5 guests in the breakfast room! Chef could of helped out, but said it was down to the water! No team spirit and poor customer service.

The first night we were the only guests. The room was to warm. No sleeping in due to the nise from the street. Breakfast was suppose to be from 8-10 but, no show. The town is dead.
