Great second-row home featuring an upper and a lower covered deck with 160° open ocean views as well as easy beach access. You'll be just across the street from the ice cream shop and general store. The light and bright interior is nicely decorated with coastal-chic furnishings throughout. Unwind in the living room while enjoying an ocean view, or watch TV in the upstairs den. Get cooking in the spacious kitchen (for more than one chef) with plenty of utensils to make you feel like you are in your own habitat. However, this time, including majestic ocean views! Serve special home-cooked meals at the large dining table so everyone can face the ocean and enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There are two bedrooms on the main level; two upstairs bedrooms each have access to the upper, covered porch - ideal for relaxing and watching the sunrises and sunsets with your love each day. Dine alfresco at a picnic area located beneath the property. An outdoor sand shower is great for rinsing off after a cool, evening walk on the beach and a washer/dryer adds convenience.

This property will be a must revisit on my list. I love Holden Beach, been going for years now. But this was a super-super convenient location. Just a super quick walk across the street and then you are right there at the pier. And pretty much anything you can think of this house has. The ONLY flaw was that the living room furniture wasn't the most comfortable and unless you wanted to sit at the kitchen table, I personally didn't feel like there was enough seating if everyone wanted to watch a movie or something together. But not like we were watching much tv anyhow since there was the beautiful beach just outside our door, but that would be the only thing I would change if possible. We will for sure be back to this house. I loved it :) Thanks for sharing your home with my family!

This house is roomy and uncluttered. Easy maintenance. Needs a new light bulb over the stove a better frying and a cookie sheet or shallow pan. Very nice location. Bargain price, right across the street from the ocean easy beach access.

This was a little post graduation beach trip to bring friends together before summer begins. The location is pretty perfect we got to enjoy ice cream by the water and run into the general store to get anything we were low on. The space was amazing too especially for the price I would recommend this place and if I have a big group of people to take to the beach I would definitely book again! Beach access is pretty easy and the only downside was that the pier is closed!

We enjoyed our stay at Shiloh at the Sea for the most part - however, SO many improvements need to be made. Location on the island is great (directly across the street from the ocean) but it is literally right behind the pier shop/dumpsters + campground so the view is very obstructed. The only decent ocean view is from the top floor balcony. The main floor balcony would benefit from a swinging safety gate, since it is open to the stairs that lead to the very busy street. The house itself is bigger than the listing pictures show, but watch out for the dead roaches if you move anything. The 2 balconies are large and would be great, if there were enough rocking chairs and had a few small tables. A grill would be nice! The property next door is for sale/unkept which makes it piss ant heaven so watch out on the concrete area under the house, in the outdoor shower, and on the sidewalks. An exterminator for the house and side property is definitely needed. Piss ants are all over the kitchen counters despite the ant traps. The kitchen table is super long and great for big families but could fit more than the 8 chairs provided (2 broken ones were downstairs). Cleaning service is very subpar as there was sand on the floors and dead roaches under furniture when we checked in. Also, the cabinet, closet, and entry doors are visibly filthy near the knobs. The ice maker in the freezer makes ice super slowly but doesn’t actually dump it into the tray. The sitting area off the stairs is quaint and comfortable with a smart TV, however the living room only has 13 basic channels. The outdoor shower under the house is super convenient, as there is not a hose to wash off on the beach access, but again watch our for the ants. Hooks need to be added for towels and wet swimwear, as there are only a few rusty ones. There is a ‘Wings’ type store, an ice cream shop, and a general store that has most of what you might need only a 1-min walk to the right of the house, which is very convenient. The straw broom/dustpan provided look to be from 1999 and there are no kitchen hooks for the one thin kitchen towel provided. The kitchen/eating area is extremely well lit but the lightbulb to the carport door was burned out. The bedrooms would look more inviting with the addition of bedskirts to cover the box springs and caster wheels on all beds. The new a/c system is awesome and cools very efficiently. Multiple blinds and lampshades were broken. Property needs a LOT of TLC.
