Amazing Oceanfront Home

Enjoy a OCEANFRONT duplex with amazing 270 degree south-facing views for all day sun on the beach! This family-friendly and immaculate home boasts an open main level with living/dining space, a renovated kitchen, and main level queen bedroom. This versatile floor plan includes a 2nd floor with master suite with oceanfront views and two additional well-appointed bedrooms. The kitchen features granite countertops, tile backsplash, newer appliances, and is well stocked with every gadget and utensil needed to prepare large meals or accommodate take-out from the many restaurants on the island.

Sit on the covered deck and watch the sun rise and set over the sparkling water. The house is positioned closer to the dunes and ocean than the neighboring houses for unobstructed views up and down the island. Watch the kids play on the beach from the deck or the many ocean-view windows in the house.

Enjoy an evening walk on the beach to multiple restaurants on the island serving fresh seafood, steaks and refreshing island drinks. Have dessert at the local ice cream shop before heading back for a relaxing night listing to the ocean surf.

Holden Beach is a quiet, family-friendly beach recognized as a top beach by USA Today and a top-10 beach by National Geographic Traveler’s Magazine. There are no hotels or high-rise complexes, just family owned cottages. Holden Beach is part of the barrier island chain in southeastern NC and is also located approximately 35 miles from Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC -- making trips for shopping, eating and entertaining very convenient. Holden Beach is also well-situated for 30 area golf courses.

We love our “home away from home,” and our family has spent many years enjoying all that Holden has to offer. We would love for you to choose to spend your vacation time at our property. Renting directly from the owner may be new to you (through VRBO), but we enjoy helping our renters plan the perfect vacation and that will exceed your expectations.

The home was beautiful, comfortable and accommodated all our needs. The living space and dining area was roomy and comfy! Walking out our door and right onto the beach was heaven! And the views were spectacular.

The home was very nice, cstrps of the beach, close to resturants.How ever there was dirty linens left on the dinning room table, no TP, trash bags, hand soap or comforters. Towels were in a bag in the DS bedroom. Frustrating to have to run & purchase all items late after arriving. Host did send us blankets from laundry service. But never checked in after all the issues.Also the battery & cover for smke detecter was in the nite stand drawer. Need better house keeping. We e joyrd the week but woth what we paid we should have had all the above items when we arrived.

Excellent Family Beach

We loved our stay. The location is awesome and the beach was perfect. The condo had all we needed for a wonderful family vacation. They had baby gates for the stairs and a booster seat as well, which was helpful for families with toddlers.

Pretty easy to sum up

Over place, location, cleanliness, all perfect. Will look to book next year. Sea biscuits on Holden brahc amazing. Previous 8 years were at OIB but now will be looking to book at Holden beach going forward.

Beach Front Home

This beach front home was lovely. Location was perfect. Amount of space in home was excellent. The beach views from inside were beautiful. My family rented both sides of the home with my sister staying in the “West” side while my family was in the “East” side. The west side did not have as strong of a WiFi/streaming signal as the east side did . Otherwise the stay was perfect!

Mothers Day at the beach

This property was everything we had hoped for. Very clean and neat. Everything was in working order. This property has four bedrooms, all of them were a nice size. If you filled all those bedrooms, the living area would become very small. The porch is very nice but again, would become small in size if you fill the house. Of course the beach is beautiful. This property does not provide any beach equipment but a little shop just down the street will rent you everything you need. We also found there really isn’t any fine dining in the area. The casual restaurants close by are nice with the beach vibe. Fine dining is 30-40 minutes away. Over all we enjoyed the space and will not think twice about staying there again.

High recommendation!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely duplex very much. Very clean, decorated beachy, and right on the oceanfront. The amenities were great and conveniently located near areas like Calabash where we enjoyed shopping and dining. This was our second time at this beautiful home away from home. No regrets!!

Holden Beach

This property was just as described. This was our first oceanfront rental but it will not be our last! Our only concern was that you could not access under the house from the beach side to store our beach accessories. Fortunately, we felt comfortable leaving everything at the bottom of the stairs leading to the beach. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for our family of 9. We found Holden to be much quieter than the Myrtle Beach area. It’s a little crazy with everyone trying to come in at the same time on Saturday but after that it did not seem crowded at all.

Fantastic House

This location is perfect! Right on the beach with full windows so we could watch the kids playing in the sand while cooking supper. Kitchen was well stocked and very organized. First rental we've been asked to bring things like hand soap or toilet paper but honestly this house makes up for that. Book it! You will love this house.
