A light and bright apartment located in the heart of Caloundra. The Anchors Aweigh complex is only a 1 minute walk to the waters edge down at Happy Valley or just a 4 minute easy walk to Bulcock Beach which is patrolled and very popular with families.

his apartment is located in a central area being only a short walk to the main street of town, the local cinema, the Sunday and twilight markets plus a great choice of dining-out options.

Unit 6 is fully self-contained and was recently reburbished in March of 2021 with a full re-paint, new flooring, new bathroom and kitchen. This apartment is lovely and fresh with lots of natural light. Enjoy glimpses of the Pumicestone Passage from your balcony, you may even spot a ship sailing by

Other features include comfortable furnishings, a spacious and sunny balcony, ceiling fans (note only a pedestal fan in the 2nd bedroom due to the bunk beds), TV & DVD player, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.

Unit 6 is located on the 3rd floor with stairs and has a single lock up garage.

This apartment will be a great choice for beach-lovers and for anyone who wishes to park the car and be able to walk everywhere!

Please note that this property does not have air conditioning however there are ceiling fans supplied.

Linen
Bookings newly created after the 26th of September 2025 will now supply linen, however guests will still need to make the beds. If booked prior to the 26th of September 2025 guests will need to supply their own linen or hire for an additional fee. You will need to bring your sheets and pillow cases, towels, hand-towels, bath mats, face washers and tea towels. Alternately if you would like to hire the linen, we can arrange this for you for an additional fee.

Amazing location

Not fully satisfied with the property

First I’ll say absolutely visit caloundra, it’s wonderful. As for the unit, it was clean and well located. The lack of AC was a real issue for us, as well as the lack of Wi-Fi (it’s 2023!). As stated by another reviewer, the apt is void of any supplies common to vacation rentals, such as cleaning, paper products, spices, tea. These little things mean alot to a traveler and it shows that the host cares. My advice to those who go with this host is to call them direct and ask a lot of questions before you book.

The property was very unclean. Minimal supplies available in the apartment, half a roll of toilet paper, no garbage bags, no hand soap, no spray and wipe... its the little things. We vacuumed the property when we checked in as there was what looked like pubic hair in the toilet and bathroom everywhere. The actual keys to the property were filthy dirty too. Attention to detail very poor. Overall, would not recommend or book again

Love Caloundra

Lovely spacious 2 bedroom unit in a magic spot. Within walking distance to everything- shops, eateries, cinema, beach. Locked the car in the garage and didn’t take it out until departing for home. Need mobility to scale the stairs to the 3rd level

Anchors Aweigh!!

Great little place for a holiday. Stairs may be an issue for some but the location overwrites that. Close to everything - including IGA. Perfect size for a family of 5 or less.

Anchors Aweigh for a lovely stay!

The apartment is comfortable, light and airy and in a handy location - a 2 minute walk to the beach at Happy Valley and only a short walk to both Bulcock Beach and Kings Beach. With no lift, be prepared to carry your bags up 3 flights of stairs. Being on the top floor allows you to catch any breezes as well as a glimpse out to sea. We enjoyed our stay at Anchors Aweigh and would book there again.
