Location, location, location, with lots of Extras included in the nightly rate!

Our sweet cottage is conveniently located mid-island on the quiet west side of the causeway. Only 2 blocks from the Ocean (3-4 min walk),Fishing Pier, Island Market, Shops and Ice Cream! Kindred Spirit mailbox is located on the west end of the island and is almost exactly a two mile stroll from our front door.
4 Bed/ 2 Bath. King Bed in Master- Queen Beds in each additional room, comfortably sleeps 8. Linens are provided to our guests. Expect to find your bed freshly made upon arrival, including 2 bath towels per guest. Wireless internet. Smart TV. Ceiling fans in each bedroom. Master Bed is spacious with a sitting area. Well appointed kitchen with dishwasher. 6 chair dining table with 4 additional seats at the breakfast bar. Gas grill. Our outdoor shower continues to be a guest favorite. Full size Washer/Dryer. The additional refrigerator/freezer located on the ground floor is perfect for extra ice for coolers and your beach beverages. Pull behind beach wagon, coolers, beach toys, beach towels and chairs are located on site. Picnic table, hammock, and additional relaxed seating under house. Rockers on covered front porch.

Our cottage is a simple haven away from it all! Grab a kindred spirit and come relax, breathe in the sweet salty air and slow down to island time!

Smoking is not permitted on property. This means that no smoking is allowed in the house, on the porches, or on the surrounding outside ground areas. Any evidence to suggest that this policy has been violated, including cigarette butts, smells, or burns, will result in automatic retention of the security/damage deposit.

Check in/out on Saturday June-Aug. Must be 25 to rent. Please note that Sunset Beach is a quiet family style beach. Absolutely no house parties. No motorcycles without written permission from owner.

Favorite Beach Rental Ever!

This was the best beach house we've ever booked and we have been to many. The attention to detail and cleanliness were above and beyond. The beds and bedding are all high quality and we are leaving very well rested. The beach gear and toys in the downstairs closet made the trip. We loved the carport area and the kids played there the entire time. I almost hate to give this property the review it deserves or it will get booked up! But in all seriousness, you can tell the property is well loved and taken care of and if you want the perfect family beach trip, this is it!

This was our 2nd stay. Like how everything like linens, grill, beach toys, bikes are available to use. Great location of pier and market. Loved sitting on decks and relaxing. Owners very receptive To communication. Highly recommend!

A Happy Place

Amanda's house was just right for our family. After the first night we all commented on how comfortable the beds were ! Not needing to bring your own sheets is a great perk. She also has everything you need for the beach, so you don't have to bring all of that. The front porch became a gathering place for us every evening to recap each wonderful day. Thank you, Amanda, for providing this special place for families to enjoy !

Great Stay!

This was our second visit to Summer’s Folly and we enjoyed it as much as the first stay! The house is clean and had virtually everything we needed for the week. It’s only a short walk to the beach, and the beach equipment and bikes are a great bonus. Thanks for a wonderful repeat stay!

Perfect place for Thanksgiving at the beach.

Nice house for a family beach trip. Comfy beds, beach toys, quick walk to the beautiful beach and fishing pier. Coffee maker broke and Amanda ran out on Thanksgiving and brought us a new one. Only complaint is there is a new 3 story house with a pool being built about 15 feet from the back deck. Wasn't a problem because of the holiday ( no one was working) but really should have been mentioned in the description of the property till it's done being built. I would recommend this house, after the construction is finished.

Family Getaway

The property was very nice and in very nice neighborhood. Loved that we had beach equipment to use so we didn’t have to worry about renting it or bringing with us. House was just what we needed and loved that every room was big and had queen beds except for master which was a king. Very clean and Ananda was always there to answer any questions that we had. Loved it and will definitely use again!!!!

Great locations and cute cottage

We loved staying here. We have 2 small kids. House was plenty big for us, but could have had another family share too and had plenty of room. We have always loved Sunset beach. This house is close to everything. Even though we brought I our own bikes, they had bikes available. House was clean and like having linens included. Plenty of beach equipment to use. Owners communicate anytime I needed anything, before and during our trip. We had no problems even when we got locked out accidentally once. Amanda made sure we got back in. Thanks for a great stay. We will look Summer Folly up again.

Sunset Beach 2921

Wonderful all around! Amanda was very responsive and everything listed is accurate. We are a family of four and easily had room to share. Our family has come to Sunset Beach for years and know the area well. The location is great! Please don’t over pack! The house is very well equipped for everything. We have stayed in multiple homes over the years and this one is nicely updated. We will definitely be back!

Nice comfortable clean beach home

Amanda was very good to work with. She was responsive and friendly with all of our communications. The interior upgrades were well done and the home was quiet and comfortable. The sitting area under the house was a big win for us along with the grill and outdoor shower. The beach chairs, etc. were also a big bonus. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Just what we needed

This house was perfect for my family and me, and the beach was beautiful as always. Super clean, linens, towels, and plenty of pillows. Beds were soft and very comfortable. We couldn’t ask for anything better, it was just what we needed to reset and relax as a family. Would definitely rent again!

We had a great time. The property is close to the beach. Whatever you need, Amanda and Brian have thought of it. Just walk in and relax! I can't say enough good things. Amanda recommended some restaurants and they were excellent. I hope to come back and stay. Thank you for making our vacation wonderful!
