Stone's Throw #43 is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo located in the desirable Stone's Throw complex. The condo has heated floors in the kitchen and bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen equipped with everything you will need for your stay. It offers door-step ski-in, ski-out via the Morrisey and Orient chair lift, ski storage, and a private hot tub to warm up after a long day on the hill. For summer it offers access to hiking and biking trails and it has a large grass area out front for kids to play while the adults sit back and relax in the hot tub. So you can rest assured that your mountain bikes are safe the condo has a private bike storage lock large enough for four bikes.

Great Stay

Very well organised. Condo is great and ideally located near the orient chairlift or Morissey. Loved the hot tub. Place was tidy and had plenty space the 4 of us after a good day of skiing.Lots of storage, and a well stocked kitchen. Thanks for having us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very well appointed, ski in ski out, convenient access

We enjoyed our stay at Stone’s Throw. Probably one of the best appointed rentals we’ve stayed in as they provided everything even a first aid kit. The unit is conveniently locate, next to the lift and near the parking garage on the first floor. If you don’t ski this unit is not a great location because it’s a mile plus walk to town on Icey or messy roads. You can ski to town otherwise by taking the chair and following the route. There was enough room for our family of four but the unit is quite small, especially for what we paid for it. The location is quite busy and the unit is on a corner so a decent amount of outside noise. To be expected in a condo but something to be aware of. The hot tub is nice but probably the biggest negative. It is a toxic stew of chemicals. The spa person comes each day to check but what he is really doing is just adding chemicals. We used the tub each day and immediately took a shower afterwards. All is all, enjoyed the unit and location but for total cost (it was competitively priced for our season from what we could tell but once you add service fees it was over 1200 per night) we would have expected a bit more size. We would stay again in an off-season rate.

Perfect for young skiers

We stayed with our three small children, two of whom are learning to ski. Not only was the unit comfortable and well stocked but the kids were literally able to ski right up to the door. Perfect :)

Excellent ski in ski out home away from home!

We spent a week at Stone’s Throw unit #43 and it was hands down the best ski vacation we could have hoped for! I have never seen a kitchen so well equipped in a rental place! We ate all our meals in except for one birthday dinner. The layout of the two bedrooms was great for our adult daughter to have her own room and bathroom at one end while we have privacy at the other end of the condo. The entire place was clean, nicely furnished and had extra towels, even separate towels for hot tub. The hot tub was maintained daily.We loved the gas fireplace in the living room, it warmed up the main area nicely. Easy ski in and ski out location. Designated parking spot. We will be back!

Sun Peaks Stones Throw Jan 2023

Absolutely loved our time at Sun Peaks. So many runs (/great variety), everyone so friendly, great shops. Loved the condo especially the hot tub after skiing! Appreciated the well equiped kitchen (tea/fresh ground coffee, quite a few herbs, salt/pepper, oil), cocktail shaker, pressure cooker/slow cooker (able to prep yummy meals the night prior!), shampoo/conditioner/dishwasher bits. Short ‘push’ along a flat then gentle downhill to Orient chairlift; can’t quite ski back via green run back to condo (fair bit of ‘poling it’ unless you’re hurtling down at a good pace prior) but blue run to condo better. Short (10-15m?) beautiful walk to the village. Icing on the cake would be a condo with a kitchen actually in the village (by shops/restaurants) but think there’s only hotels. Would highly recommend the resort - so pretty. Magical. Would love to come back. (One note of caution: lifts bit slow/old/temperamental at times - warning te taking back packs off before going on lifts but no warning re hoodies/hoodie jackets: person next to our 23 yr old son inadvertently pulled down bar after dismounting quad lift; hooked our son’s hoodie, dragging him down/strangling him. Written to resort.

Great summer getaway

Very clean almost brand new property in a quiet complex. Golf, mountain biking, restaurants all very close by within a 1km walk. Great hosts great communication. Will definitely stay here again!

Excellent condo, just a short walk to the village. Clean, spacious, and comfortable. Had a problem with the code for parking in the evening and Tobias was available to help right away. Thanks for making the stay enjoyable!
