We had a comfortable stay, thoroughly enjoyed the location, loved the peaceful, beautiful Green Bay, especially at sunset. For our multigenerational group w children ages 4 and 6, the accommodations were perfect. The children had space to play inside as we got organized to explore the many nearby attractions, loved running around on the grassy lawn and venturing towards the water to throw and collect small rocks, watch the seagulls, Bay pelicans, etc. We spent our days at two nearby beaches, Egg Harbor (7miles) & Peninsula State Park (15 miles) where water was shallow enough for them to confidently enjoy playing in the water. I had expected there may be a sandy beach in front of the house, but that was my error. Instead, we enjoyed the nearby beaches and if you go to Peninsula, prepare ahead and get the daily entrance pass online. I did see the pretty pier in the photos and expected we could walk out on the pier and my husband could fish from the pier (which he did), but when we reviewed the info in the binder provided by the host, we learned we should walk on the pier at our own risk since it is not securely supported. It seems to me that disclaimer would be provided, but we probably wouldn’t have used the dock any differently since our kids are so young. Kitchen was roomy to work in but missed essential utensils, (measuring spoons, cups, cookie sheet (for chicken nuggets), salad servers, only 2 dishcloths.) Minor distractions that didn’t disqualify a net Thumbs Up!

Another great time!

We are repeat customers and have thoroughly enjoyed our stays at this property. This year was no different! The hosts do a great job to make the property ready and provide everything needed. The home itself feels almost like new construction. But what we really love is the location. The property grounds and waterfront area are fantastic for sunbathing, swimming, bonfires, and sunsets. It's only a short drive to either Sturgeon Bay or Egg Harbor for a quick meal or shopping if needed. We plan to be back again in the future!

Wonderful Time

It is a scenic waterfront location with great views and space. Inside has a nice upscale beachy vibe but very comfortable. There is a binder with information for the property and the local area. The light switches were labeled which made it so much easier. Many touches like a full pantry and kitchenwares to soaps, shampoos, lotion and even make-up removers made it a really homey stay. A nice firepit area close to the shore was fun and relaxing. After watching a beautiful sunset, we had a special treat of meteor showers. Fantastic communication with our host and we were able to contact him directly with a quick question before leaving. We would definitely come back to enjoy in warmer weather.

Perfect for family of 4

Perfect size for our family. The fire pit along the bay was amazing. Short drive to a nice public beach. Only minor annoyance was no lamps in the house. You couldn’t read before bed without bright overhead lights on.

Great property and location

We very much enjoyed the waterfront location this property offered. The yard and shoreline were very well maintained. The water views were amazing. The house was clean with nice finishes and layout. This is a great spot to be on the Bay and enjoy Door County. Absolutely would stay again!

We enjoyed a relaxing long holiday weekend in this beautiful clean home on the water!

This home is beautiful and has an amazing backyard right on the water! Plenty of room and extremely clean. We enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the lake in the morning and both evenings we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets with a fire. We had three teenagers with us and they had plenty to do whether skipping rocks, throwing the football or sitting around the fire….weather was a bit too cold to swim. Our bedroom and full bath were on the first floor and the kids were on the 2nd floor with a full bath and TV area which was great! Host provided everything including shampoo, soaps, towels and even a few kcups for morning coffee. Host was very responsive to my questions ahead of time and all we had to do once we arrived was enjoy!

Beautiful home.

Beautiful home. If you are looking for a serene escape from the real world, look no further. Set against a backdrop of large trees, watch the waves of Lake Michigan lap against the crystal clear shoreline while cozied up to a beautiful outdoor fire. Bring food, wine and a good book and you will have everything else you need provided. A very well-appointed and superbly clean rental.
