Location

The apartment is enviably close to the lake and various amenities. It is located in the main town area and most of the places can be covered on foot or public transport. There is a train station within walking distance. The splendid views of the lake can be admired by walking 300 meters. There is a bar next door (young guests love it but could get noisy for some during summer season), restaurants, shops and the supermarket within a stone’s throw away. Sports lovers would be delighted to know that there is a tennis court and a golf course a short drive from the apartment.

Stresa is one of the most popular destinations on Lake Maggiore. From street markets to stunning views of the Borromean islands, chestnut routes for hikers, food festivals and more, the town is a paradise for tourists. Some of the most enjoyed activities here include visiting Villa Taranto Botanical gardens, taking a ferry ride to the Borromean islands and a panoramic cable car ride to Mount Mottarone, walking along the lakefront, shopping at the local market and enjoy the large variety of cheese and cold cuts among many other things that the town has to offer. It is also possible to take day trips to other lake towns.

The nearest airport is only 50 kilometers away.

Next to the apartment there is a bar, so there will be some noise during the summer months.
