I would not stay here again if you paid me a million dollars. Communication with the company that rents this property, By The Bay Rentals, was non-existent. I messaged them for three weeks and finally was given a cell number to get my code 30 minutes before arriving (after a 3-hour drive). While the house is somewhat spacious, ants were taking over the kitchen. The house is missing some items you'd expect when renting. The furniture is unbearable to sit on. You'll need new hips and a back after 30 minutes, and the beds are old and hard. The pillows are equivalent to something you would get at a dollar store. When I mentioned to the company how uncomfortable my family was finding it, all she did was fight with me about how I was wrong, to the point of harassment. She also kept lying to me over and over; it was a bizarre interaction. I have been renting for 20 years in PEI, maybe 20 times a year, and this has been one of the worst experiences ever. I usually have a great stay. What a disappointment. I was left just one dishwasher tab for four days, and when I let them know so the next renter would be well-stocked, she sent a photo showing the box with 7 or 8 in it, accusing me of lying when four adults who were present there with me all searched and checked the box. It just kept getting crazier by the minute. Don't waste your money.
