Nestled in an idyllic neighborhood and just a 3-minute walk to the beach, the 520 College Street Studio is the perfect escape. – whatever you do, you’ll be glad you booked a stay in this cozy and charming efficiency. Walk to some of St. Simons' great seafood restaurants or stay in and cook. The stocked kitchen has everything you'll need. There is a full-sized bathroom with a tub and shower, a large living space, and a comfortable bed - Fully equipped to make your vacation a pleasure.

Includes wireless internet. This unit DOES NOT have a washer or dryer. We DO NOT accept pets. Please Do Not park in front of the garage

Every one of our properties is furnished with a “starter kit” of supplies so that you don't have to run to the store at the start of your vacation.

Loved the charm and location of the unit. However, when we checked in the smell of mildew was horrific and it felt like the place needed a fresh clean as it felt closed up for a while. Was great to be able to walk to the beach but a little further than we thought to the Village. Will def go back!

It was perfect. We were able to walk to the beach and all the restaurants and even the ice cream shop. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The bungalow was just perfect, very clean and cozy.

We stayed in this quaint little one room cottage for a week. I think 3 - 4 days would have been better for such a small space, but we made the best of it. Ultimately, we enjoyed our stay.

Directions need to be clearer, because GPS takes one to the front of the house. The toaster did not work. The wifi worked only half of the time. It took a LONG time to get hot water. But great location, clean place, comfortable bed

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights and had a great time. We brought our bikes and mostly we used them to go everywhere. The beach is only a 5 minute walk and all the shops and restaurants where jus a bike away. We read a previous review that complained about the heat and humidity, but for us, we had no issues at all. The place was clean, cool, and very comfortable. We will be back hopefully soon.

read past reviews they're spot on and have not been fixed even though they say they have. we arrived late at night tired from a long trip, when i opened the door the mildew/ humidity hit me harder than will smith at the oscars. wet walls, bed and pillows. too tired, too late to do anything about it my first night was horrible. a/c unit has a drainage issue dumps moisture back into the room. emmonds said there was supposed to be a dehumidifier set up in the room, that right there should be the clue that something is wrong. they brought the dehumidifier over. i stayed a week humidity inside was north of 80% (gage didnt go higher) eventually it went down to 55% i put candles all over the place and sprayed febreeze on everything daily to make it bearable. ran the bathroom exhaust and dehumidifier 24/7. empty dehumidifier every 3 hrs. ignore the noise they make best you can. shame because its a nice little place and cleaning out the a/c drain is super easy for the right repairman. almost did it myself but im on vacation and i was already doing more than i should have. thankfully the time of year meant i didnt have to run the a/c much which allowed the dehumidifier to catch up i feel sorry for someone in the summer. humidity issue aside it is a nice, clean place in a good location and i would stay there again if issues were fixed. door drap is see thru didnt bother me, people can see in i feel sorry for the neighbors im way past my prime.

The check in experience wasn’t smooth. We didn’t receive an access code from the owner on the day of check in, as indicated in the confirmation email. We had to email and make multiple phone calls to the property management company to obtain it. The property owner never sent it to us, so we finally obtained it from the property management company. It was a relief, since it was a 4th of July holiday and we were not sure if they’d even be open. The property itself is comfortable and has everything you need for a few days stay. The beach access is just a couple of minutes walk away. The center of town with shops and restaurants is close too, a beautiful 15-20 min walk. The cottage was clean except for the couch, that had stains and dirty marks. The overall stay was pleasant, as the island itself had a beautiful peaceful atmosphere and a fantastic sandy beach.

Upon arriving to the property, we unlocked the front door and noticed a certain smell that resembled water damage/mold. I noticed the ceiling was sagging in certain areas. The air in the unit felt damp/humid which made the bedsheets feel wet, so we plugged in our own fan and turned the a/c on 65°, and we ended up putting our own blanket on top and using our own pillows. We endured 2 nights trying to sleep on the bed but it was very uncomfortable (lumpy and uneven). The front door has no blinds, and the curtain is see-thru (you can be seen from the outside). The clear shower curtain has mold and hardwater stains. Oh...and good luck trying to get in touch with the host once you arrive. They never answered the phone when we tried calling about the non-working internet. Lastly, the pics of the unit look better than seeing the unit in person. I didn't want to do a review, but I feel it is necessary so that others will know before booking. On a positive note, we were grateful for even finding a vacant unit around our anniversary and being able to enjoy the attractions at St Simons island and Jekyll island. Though this unit was the most affordable we could find in that area, sad to say, we won't be making a second stay. I wish I had something nice to say about the host but we never were fortunate to have met or even spoken in person.

Comfortable bed, good location, kitchen well stocked. We found maintenance to be lacking. The shower caddy was very rusted and the shower hooks were rusted to the pointed of turning the shower curtain rusty. Also the toilet ran continuously after flushing which was annoying. The major item was the AC unit. I have asthma and am allergic to dust l kept waking up each morning unable to breathe but we didn’t see any visible dust. The day we were checking out we saw the top of the AC unit and a filter there was covered in layers of dust. Based on the above I could not recommend this unit. I have some photos of the problem areas, if you would like them let me know. Thank you.

The space was nice, great walking distance to the beach. It is good for 2 for a small getaway. Easy drive to Jekyll Island. This really is not for the tall people, bed was small and shower was short.

First- the not so good: apartment is very dark and the only way to easily let in much light was to open the front door which basically opens to your car & the street. Also, be aware that there is nowhere to sit outside. And, the water… recommend bringing your own to drink. Hot water takes forever to come up and when it does, it smells kind of like glue. But, there is lots of positives about this snug little studio: the bed was by far the most comfortable bed we’ve slept in that wasn’t home. Small, but firm, great pillows too. Kitchen was well equipped with good quality cookware. Excellent Wi-Fi. Good lighting & temperature control. Cute decor. Very clean. Easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Overall, we were very happy and felt it was a good value.

Property was very clean and cute! Also a very easy walk to the beach, basically across the street from an access! The only thing to consider is the tides will take away the beach at 3rd st, so pay attention to the tide chart or go to a beach access a little further down! During low tide though there was plenty! Otherwise this was a great stay and we would definitely stay again!
