Cottage Steps from the Beach with Community Pool

Hodnett Cooper is pleased to present this lovely Coast Cottage. Located within walking distance of the beach, the Coast Cottage community provides a quaint, charming, vacation atmosphere. The community features brick paved streets, an oceanfront swimming pool, private beach access, and uniquely designed, colorful beach cottages.

Tag Knot Cottage, located at 20 Coast Cottage Lane, features 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths.

The first level has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths with a king in the master and queen beds in both guest rooms. There is a reading nook on this level as well nestled between bedrooms. The 2nd main level has an open floor plan for gathering with the kitchen, living area and dining table with built in seating. A half bath and laundry facility is located on this level as well. The large back deck is accessible from this level as well facing the Coast Guard Station. At the top landing of the third level is another bath and a built in twin bed. Across the outdoor space is the entrance to the 4th bedroom equipped with a built in queen bed and two hanging twins. This level has a tremendously large outdoor area to enjoy for the entire family!

The fireplace is not available for guest use.

Please note that the occupancy limit for the home also represents your occupancy limit for the common areas. In addition this property STRICTLY prohibits any parties, events, gatherings that would exceed the occupancy of the home.

Bedding Includes: 1 King, 3 Queens, 3 Twins.

Additional Information:

* This home only rents Saturday to Saturday during Summer months.

* College/Student groups are NOT allowed. All renters must be 25 and older, with the exception of children in families.

* Pool Heat - The community pool is heated from Friday through Sunday from the end of September until mid-May, as well as many holiday weeks. Other days, the pool may be heated with prior request for $50 per day. Please inquire for details.

* Parking for this cottage is limited to 2 spaces. This policy is not flexible and management is not responsible for locating additional spaces.

Great family vidit

The house worked perfectly for our group, ages 9 to 74. We let the kids have the top floor for sleeping. Too many stairs for the oldest among us although we did all enjoy the breezy and shaded roof top deck! Lots of areas to be together. Plenty of room when we wanted to be apart. Great location for beach and town. The kitchen had everything we needed and one thing no one wants —tiny ants that pounced on every crumb ! We had to keep all food in the refrigerator, microwave or oven. It would be perfect without those uninvited guests.

Perfect Location

Great house and great location! We had issue checking in with door code and upon calling the rental company, they promptly sent someone to help us. Not many extra towels or kitchen items (trash bags, detergent) - Would stay here again!

Spring Break Get Away

We had a wonderful stay at 20 Tag Knot over our spring break. The home was beautiful beyond our expectations! It was a fun place for our family and close friends to relax and enjoy St. Simmons Island.

Great week!

This property was perfect for our Thanksgiving week with family. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well appointed and there was plenty of space. The location was great too. We will definitely be back!

Short but So Sweet

Nice view and access to the ocean. Home well stocked with all needed supplies and equipment. Pleased with the cleanliness of the property. When we stopped to check in at the office we bumped into a Hodnet Cooper agent who offered to guide us to the property, nice to find someone go above and beyond.

Amazing location for beach goers.

Great house basically on the ocean. We loved this place. My only knock to it would be the pool. The pool is on a timer and we could not control the times the jets would be running. I understand why but it would be great to have some control of when you want to use it. Especially for this traveling with kids.

Great house!

This was the perfect house for our beach trip. We had 3 adults and 5 kids with us and the facilities were great. The kitchen is well-stocked. The only down-side is that you have to walk through a knee-deep pond to get to the beach. The property really needs a second boardwalk!

Great place to stay very close to the beach

We were here for a wedding, and enjoyed the property. There was plenty of space and it was a short walk to the beach. Would stay here again if we come back.

In need of updates

.. decor and air conditioner need up dating ASAP! Bathrooms dated and rugs and comforters were awful ( stained & peeling)... Time for a reboot. Not the quality you deserve for that price per night in one of the Coastal Cottages.
