Are you looking for a cozy getaway with walkability to restaurants and the beach? With the beach a block away and the villages less than a mile, Coaches Corner Cottages is the place for you! This is a newly renovated historical building with four separate cottages. Cottage A has 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, patio with dining, smart TVs in all rooms with Hulu/Disney+, shared outdoor shower area, and communal grill area. We pride ourselves on Five Star quality, ensuring you will have an amazing stay!

Cottage A, located on the ground floor, is accessible via the expansive wrap-around deck. The generous living area features a queen sleeper sofa and flows into an open-plan kitchen and dining space. Along the hallway, there's a laundry space and a complete bathroom. The first bedroom boasts a king-sized bed, an ensuite, and its own private patio. The second bedroom also has a king-sized bed and leads to the third bedroom, which is furnished with a full-sized bed and a desk, offering an ideal space for children while still providing privacy for adults. The communal outdoor area includes beach accessories available on a first-come, first-served basis. There's complimentary on-site parking for two vehicles. Inquire about our golf cart rental availability!

*The cottage is equipped with a ring doorbell camera system at the front door. All doorbell rings will be sent to your hosts' phone and will not ring inside.

**Any stay over 10 days will require an additional cleaning and cleaning fee.

***Coaches Corner consists of four separate cottages in one building. This is a great place for family reunions when rented together! It can sleep up to 22 and allows togetherness with casual privacy. Hawk’s Nest is a stand-alone, pet friendly cottage next door which can sleep an additional 8. Please message for availability regarding booking multiple cottages for large groups.

As advertised, you have one piece of a boarding house that was broken into four sections. With that said, Cottage A had everything that we could ask for in a vacation rental. The kitchen was complete with all of the tools to put out an amazing meal along with an ice maker and filtered water. The TV gave us access to a number of streaming services for evening entertainment if you can take yourself off of the wrap around porch. Beyond that, the hosts were very responsive to all of our questions and the Coach's Corner Guide Book that they provided was priceless! Add to that that, you can be on the beach with a short walk. We truly enjoyed our stay and will likely reach out to them again in the future!

Great location

Loved the wrap around porch with rockers and location close to the beach. On another note, this is a 101 year old house so walls are thin. With that in mind, if noisy adults and rowdy kids are above and/or adjoining, you will hear everything.

Lovely beach cottage

This cottage is just as precious as described in the listing. Everything we needed was provided! We love the proximity to the beach, restaurants and Moo Cow Ice Cream! Check in was smooth and communication was great with the host! Highly recommend - can’t wait to visit again soon!

Location, Location, Location!

Great, great, great location! It's so close to the beach, and there's a big porch on the front that we used constantly throughout the week for all of our meals. The beach is just a block away - a very short walk - and it's within walking distance of my two favorite areas to eat in SSI. The king sized beds were great for the two adult couples in our group, and my son's room was directly connected to ours, which was convenient for traveling with young children. The owners were very responsive to our needs and very helpful.

Great location, lovely home

This property was just a few streets away from beach access. Making it easy to pack up the kids and spend the day at the beach. The home was exactly as advertised. We had plenty of space for the 2 kids to have their own rooms. We did notice that the AC struggled in the rooms (we like the sleep cold). We struggled sleeping the first night because it seemed like our bed had sand mixed into the sheets so we just switched around sleeping arrangements the following night. We had great communication with the property manager throughout our stay. It made us feel well taken care of and could easily notify them if we needed anything. The home was on a busy street so we did hear traffic at night but it didn’t keep us up. It was a great first stay on SSI!

GREAT & WELL LOCATED COTTAGE

My wife and I stayed the week during the SEC (Golf) Championships at SSI and loved the location / walkability / proximity to beach / comfy cottage. Highly recommend! We strolled the beach every afternoon as it's minutes by walk to public access....abundant restaurants and the pier are close walk as well.

Centrally-located piece of history on St. Simons Island

We had a fantastic time for the two weeks we were on the island. The owners were very responsive to all of our needs and worked with us on a few items during our stay. The property is a renovated post-war boarding house that fit the history of St. Simons Island and the important role the community played at that time. Unique in a way that many properties could not match and made us feel at home. Steps from the beach and walkable to the village or north end, we couldn't have asked for more.

Great house in a perfect location!

Lovely, comfortable cottage chic house in a terrific location to the beach, village and wonderful restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and everything very updated. We would highly recommend this house and certainly hope to return some day.

This property was exactly as advertised. It was one block from the beach with a very easy walk to the beach. The property had a large porch with rocking chairs and was very pleasant to sit outside. Great property!

Very easy to work with! Short Walk to beach and restaurants. On main road but bedrooms are in the back so didn't hear noise. Wonderful porch and love how they have redone the space. Will definitely rebook!

Historic charm with modern updates

This property was fantastic - clean, comfortable, well-stocked with towels (beach towels, too!) and cleaning supplies, as well as coffee essentials - a must for our family! The wrap-around porch was a great spot to relax and the historic charm added to the property’s authenticity. We will be back!
