My husband and I (hosts) live on-site in a private, locked-off mother-in-law unit with no shared spaces and a separate entrance (see floor diagram in listing pictures) with a shared wall. We have 2 beautiful cats that live ONLY in our private space and have never been inside the private guest unit, however guests with severe pet allergies may wish to consider this before booking. We are also more than happy to meet you upon arrival if you have any questions, so you feel comfortable.

Additional Fee Required for Pool Heating
• Pool heat: $30/day, and must be on at least 2 consecutive days
• Target temperature: 83-87°F

Important Note – Please Read Before Booking
• Hosts live on-site in a separate, locked-off mother-in-law unit with no shared spaces and a separate entrance (see floor diagram in listing pictures) but does share a wall so normal household sounds are expected. If anything is unclear, we’re happy to meet you when you arrive to walk you through the space so you feel comfortable.
• Hosts will never enter the guest unit during your stay - full privacy guaranteed (unless requested/there is an emergency)
• Hosts have two beautiful cats in their private space only. Cats have never been inside the guest unit, however guests with severe pet allergies may wish to consider this before booking.

House Rules
Respecting the space ensures a smooth and enjoyable stay. Violations may result in immediate cancellation without refund:
• No parties or events
• Quiet hours: 10 PM – 8 AM
• No unregistered guests
• No smoking
• No open flames, candles, or matches
• No shoes inside the house – cleaning/replacement fees may apply
• Thermostat must be set between 70°F and 77°F
• Keep doors and windows closed to prevent pest entry (Florida is tropical!)

----A quick note about Tropical Florida!!
Florida’s warm climate and beautiful outdoor environment also mean you may occasionally see local wildlife and insects! This can include palmetto bugs (flying roaches that live in palm trees), lizards, and sometimes stinging insects around outdoor areas. We have regular professional pest control service to help keep the home comfortable for guests. However, even with routine treatment, it’s still possible for an occasional pest to find its way indoors. To help minimize this, we recommend keeping doors and windows closed whenever possible.

While we do everything we can to maintain the home, occasional insects are simply part of living in Florida! Because of this, seeing insects outdoors or the occasional pest indoors is not considered grounds for a refund.

The check-in instructions will be sent to you 24 hours before your arrival, so you'll have a clear guide to help with check-in. The check-out instructions will be sent to you a day before your departure to ensure a smooth process.

If you need an early check-in or late check-out, please inform us ahead of time as this is subject to availability. We do also charge an additional fee.
