As a seasoned traveler, I've stayed in my fair share of accommodations, but none quite like this. Picture this: you walk into what's supposed to be your dream vacation home, only to be greeted by a scent that can only be described as a mixture of expired cheese and wet dog. If you've ever wondered what a neglected frat house smells like after a week-long party, this place nails it.
But wait, it gets better. Or should I say worse? The water pressure in the shower was so low that I had to perform a rain dance just to get a trickle. Forget about washing your hair – you'll be lucky if you can rinse off the soap suds.
And just when you think things couldn't possibly get any worse, I woke up one morning to find police tape surrounding the front yard. Turns out there was a homicide right outside our doorstep. Talk about waking up on the wrong side of the bed – or in this case, the wrong side of the crime scene.
In summary, if you're looking for a vacation rental that smells like a dumpster, has water pressure reminiscent of a leaky faucet, and comes with unexpected crime scenes, then this is the place for you. But if you value your olfactory senses, hygiene, and safety, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this VRBO nightmare.
