Direct Gulf front 3 bedroom, 2 bath condominium with a birds-eye view of the beautiful sugary beaches of Indian Shores. The living room is comfortably furnished with a TV with cable and DVD player. The large wooden dining table is ready for the perfect meal or family game night. The full-size, fully equipped kitchen has all the amenities of home. The Gulf-front master bedroom has a King size bed and sliding glass door to balcony. There is a TV with cable and an ensuite bathroom. The master bathroom has a new step-in shower surround. The 2nd bedroom has 2 Queen memory foam (2021) beds and a view of the Intracoastal Waterway and a TV with cable. The 3rd bedroom has 2 Twin beds, ceiling fan and a view of the Intracoastal Waterway. No need to overpack there is a full-size Washer and Dryer in the condo along with FREE secure Wi-Fi and FREE Long Distance to U.S. and Canada. The condo community offers a beachside Heated Swimming Pool, Hot Tub, Charcoal and Gas Grills. There is an assigned under building parking space.

Property Fell Short of VRBO Past Experiences and Expectations - Everything Else Was Great

The property was well short of any past VRBO experiences we have had as a family. Over the past ten years we have stayed at roughly two VRBO properties a year across many different states. This visit was actually a return visit to the Sand Castle Condos in Indian Rocks area. Two years ago we stayed in Sand Castle 1 building and we had a beautiful property that was well cared for and modern. Upon arrival the check in with the staff at the office was exceptional and went very smooth. We were able to rent chairs and towels with ease. We drove to the property and the grounds and the building were looking great like we remembered Sand Castle 1 being. Elevators were old and slow like the last time but they were clean and operated without issues. Staff around the buildings were always great and very welcoming. Once we walked into our condo that is where we all as a family looked at each other and had a look of disbelief. Paint pealing off the trim work, carpet pulled away from the floors, no trim work on the floor of the kitchen cabinets. Garbage left between the refrigerator and the wall. There was pretzels and other food and wrappers left in the room with the two twin beds. There were stains on the walls and holes from where pictures used to hang. The door was also very dirty and stained and the door handle was loose and very old. The front entry door lock was also showing it wear and looked as if the door had been pushed open once or twice as the door jam was all beat up. The room with two full beds also had significant carpet damage and lots of pain pealing off the trim. Neither of the rooms with two beds had much lighting at all. No ceiling lights and small table lamps that would only work in a few of the outlets. Maybe half of the outlets worked in the facility. The larger of the two bathrooms was the one off of the kitchen, this might have been the cleanest room. Shower and bath tub were pretty new and everything worked as it should. Water pressure was very low on the sink and this was common in all sinks in the condo. The kitchen ceiling light fixture was damaged and was also full of dead bugs. The light above the kitchen table was very dim but I think that was so no one would see the amazing amount of dead moths in the light fixtures. There are 2 more rooms to review but I'm out of characters. We came for beach and sunsets, that was amazing. Next trip will not be back to Sand Castle and likely not Plumlee. Staff A+++

Vacation 2021

We had a nice time at Indian Shores, just didn’t last long enough. The condo needs a lot of work for what they charge though. When we arrived it wasn’t very clean but we never called about it that day because we had already been driving all day and hadn’t eaten so I just mopped the floors and vacuumed. When we did call them about it they offered to send someone out to clean the condo immediately but we told them it was ok, we had already done it. They were very apologetic about the whole situation. There was a restaurant across the street which was great, and the beach wasn’t crowded either which is always nice. Overall we will definitely be back to Indian Shores just not necessarily at the same condo.

2021 Vacation

Overall my experience renting this process was good. We really enjoyed the area, and it is in close proximity to anything you would need. We LOVED the beach views and the fact that it was on the beach with very easy access, we also spent a lot of time at the pool. There were some random things that came up during our stay, the blender was broken and we bought a new one, there were small ants in the master bedroom bathroom, we had to buy batteries for the remotes for the tv’s, and there were some things not cleaned up from the folks who stayed before us. These were minor to us in the grand scheme of things and we all very much enjoyed our stay here.

Almost a great experience

Beautiful views. We enjoyed our stay. The only complaints we had were minor inconveniences. The parking space was small and difficult to maneuver. The blinds were worn and falling off the balcony doors. The remotes for the televisions had no batteries and only one remote would work to control the TV in the living room and the master bedroom, so it had to be shared. There were ant like bugs crawling out of the sink in the master bathroom. The air conditioning went out twice but Maintenace was quick to respond and remedy. These were minor things that we dealt with. On the positive side everyone was very friendly and the views were absolutely beautiful.

Good location. nice balcony. 3 bedrooms. for 8 people. Overall a nice place just needs a good cleaning and few updates. Plenty of plates, only 4 coffee cups and only 4 drinking glasses unless you count 4 wine glasses. Lost a pair of sun glasses and looked under sofa cushions just to find someone's old underwear, I have picture. Bottom of tables so dirty that had dust bunnies all over. Bathrooms need updates, wooden towel racks, white doors filthy need to be wiped down. Need coasters for tables, only 2 placemats for a table that seats 6. All this can be fixed with a good steam cleaning.

Bring kitchen ware

Kitchen had 2 forks and very little cookware (no large serving bowls, no baking sheet, no brownie pan, no cutting board, or chopping knife). Screen doors were covered in handprints, kid smudges, etc. Dryer doesn’t work well. Overall, we made it work and had a good stay. Doubtful we’ll request this unit again though.

Summer Vacation

The condo we stayed at had a wonderful view of the ocean. The condo itself while very comfortable was in desperate need of an update. The carpet was very dirty and needed to be cleaned. The first night we cooked supper the stove caught on fire. After numerous calls to the night time call service of the realtor company we were able to get moved to another unit. A maintenance man is unavailable during the evening. We also noticed a bad leak on the ceiling above our washer. We rented a 3 bedroom unit and went with 2 other couples. You are guaranteed parking for only one vehicle, we had a total of three. They give you a guess parking pass, but those are first come first serve. You are suppose to display your guest pass on your vehicle dash, but very seldom did I see any. The parking is not enforced at all. We were able to use the realtors parking lot for one of our vehicles. Would I stay there again, not sure.
