  • Fish Tales es un lindo y confortable de dos habitaciones, con unidades de aire acondicionado derramadas y 2 1/2 baños Caribbean Cottage con bonitas vistas de Fish Bay y sus alrededores a Bovocap Point y Little St James Island. Se puede acceder fácilmente a esta espaciosa casa lejos de casa a través de un gran camino plano. Dos pequeños escalones desde el camino de entrada y entras a la casa desde una cubierta cubierta. La puerta te lleva a la Gran Sala con cómodos asientos, TV, reproductor de DVD y estéreo. TV por cable e internet inalámbrico se proporcionan. La cocina y el área de comedor, así como un baño de 1/2 con lavandería de tamaño completo, fluyen fácilmente de la gran sala. Hay una puerta corredera que se abre a la gran terraza cubierta y descubierta de la piscina. En el extremo más alejado de la gran sala se encuentra la entrada al dormitorio principal, así como la escalera interna al dormitorio inferior. El amplio dormitorio principal tiene excelentes vistas y una cama king size con un colchón de espuma viscoelástica muy cómodo. Una puerta corredera te lleva a la cubierta cubierta. Hay un baño privado completo en el dormitorio principal. La habitación inferior tiene una cama queen size y una cama de día doble con nido que puede expandir la cama de día en dos camas individuales o una cama king size. Todos los colchones son muy cómodos de espuma viscoelástica. Hay una puerta corredera a una terraza privada con bonitas vistas de Fish Bay. También hay un baño privado completo con baño privado, armario y una pequeña nevera para bebidas. También se puede acceder a esta habitación inferior desde su propia entrada desde una escalera exterior y una terraza.
    Afuera, en el nivel principal, hay una gran terraza cubierta y descubierta. La piscina de inmersión es de 8 x 13 x 3 y está rodeada por 4 tumbonas. La mesa de comedor exterior con capacidad para seis y una parrilla Weber proporciona un espacio de vida al aire libre fácil y cómodo.
    Un corto paseo desde la casa te lleva al Parque Nacional y a la Bahía Reef. Camine por un sendero corto y estará en la playa, donde, en clima tranquilo, el esnórquel es excelente. En los días más ventosos puede ver a los surfistas, o caminar por la playa, sobre las rocas bajas, a lo largo de una segunda playa, sobre un sendero a una tercera playa donde se encuentran las ruinas de Reef Bay Sugar Mill. Luego puedes subir por el famoso sendero Reef Bay hasta los petroglifos. Para los más aventureros, Reef Bay Trail también se conecta con otros senderos que lo llevan a Europa y Lamshur Bay.
    Fish Tales es tranquilo, cómodo y está a solo 15 minutos del centro de Cruz Bay. ¡Disfrutar!

Great stay at this secluded villa at the edge of the national park. The splash pool and huge deck was great. It’s up on the ridge overlooking the bay. And there are no neighbors in view. It’s a bit of a drive into town but we enjoyed being out at the edge of development.

Fish tales

Fish tales was absolutely amazing to stay at for our first trip to St John! We had everything we could possibly need during our stay. The home was clean and cozy with amazing views. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck after a long day on the beach! We also loved the neighborhood Fish Tales is located in.

Wonderful!

We enjoyed our stay at Fish Tales and could tell it was well cared for. Very comfortable home for a family of five (beds, AC, etc). Loved the view from the deck and gazing at the stars after a long day at the beach. Enjoyed the short walk to Reef Bay.

Fishtales amazing!

This place was excellent! Clean and exactly what we wanted . The pool was great to dip in and cool off while hanging out on the sunny balcony and Tammy was so helpful with anything we needed! Great location

Beautiful view, great little pool, quiet neighborhood

Wonderful place to stay with our family. Very comfortable, plenty of space, equipped with everything we needed. Beautiful view and a perfect little pool for our little kids. Host was extremely responsive and made the experience super easy for us.

Great Trip

My family of 5, kids aged 11-15 just got back from our stay at Fish Tales. The house was rustic and charming, just what we were looking for. Plenty of room for my family to spread out. The house was stocked with everything we needed for our trip, and it was very clean. I miss the incredible views. One morning we saw a rainbow over the water from the back deck.The pool was nice and warm. The host was very responsive and answered all my questions in a timely manner. The location is a short drive to the beaches, as well as town. I would definitely recommend this house.

A wonderful vacation!!!

The house was perfect for us with kids, and Fish tales is also the cleanest property we have ever rented in the islands. No musty odors and extra comfortable beds. We cooked breakfasts and dinners at home in a surprisingly well appointed kitchen, most places have just a few pots and never a sharp knife but Fish tales had everything we needed including an extra clean Weber gas grill. To be fair we spent most daylight hours exploring all of the beautiful beaches, but our time at the house exceeded expectations. Service by the owner and our greeter were exceptional.

Comfy Cozy

Fish Tails was an amazing place to stay! We had a 7 month old and a 2 year old with us as well and it worked out great for them. Everything was very clean and well organized. The views were amazing and the pool was perfect for the kiddos. The walk to the beach was very simple. For our two year old, the bed downstairs with the trundle pull out worked perfectly. Plus, she felt like a big girl! Tammy was always available to talk to and so very helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Family Adventure!

We had a wonderful stay at Fish Tales. What a special property! The views were stunning and we enjoyed being out on the deck so much. The kids loved the mini pool and that they had the downstairs to themselves each with their own bed. We cooked every meal in the kitchen except for one dinner out. It worked well. The master bedroom had beautiful views and was so relaxing. We thought being able to walk out our door and hike down to Reef Bay Beach was pretty cool! One day we walked from the home down to the beach and connected up with the Reef Bay Trail, great adventure! Seeing flamingoes in the wild at Frances Bay was a highlight also. Thank you!

Gorgeous St John Sunsets

Fish Tales was exactly as described! It’s a cozy beach cottage that you can walk into and feel right at home. It’s not fancy but it’s so very charming! The back deck is cut into the rock and the plantings attract hummingbirds that you can watch while hanging out! Fish Tales is about 15 minutes away from Cruz Bay so if you’re looking for privacy and quietness this is the place for you! The roads between Cruz Bay and Fish Tales are not for the faint of heart but boy do they offer up some stunning views of the island! If you think you might want to get a taxi from Cruz Bay back to Fish Tales, make sure you have the gps coordinates or be able to give exact directions! The downstairs bedroom is an ample size and easily accommodated our two kids (11 yo boy and 13 yo girl). They had enough space and privacy and the room temperature stays much cooler than the upstairs. The sunset views from the deck are magical - be prepared for that setting sun to warm up the upstairs of the house! It can be quite warm in the evening in the upstairs bedroom and living area but once the sun is down and it’s time for bed the temperature cools down and it’s ok for sleeping. The pool is tiny but it was just the right size for cooling off. It fit the four of us just fine - the besta time for pool time is in the mid-afternoon. Any other time and it might be chilly due to the shade. The kitchen had everything that we needed and the grill worked well. We loved our time here!!

Perfect Getaway

This is a well equipped and very comfortable cottage with a small swimming pool, beautiful view and a great location for exploring St John. I stayed here with my college son and middle school daughter and my husband. There was plenty of room and we were able to grill and cook our own meals. It was a welcome retreat each day after hiking and snorkeling on the island. If I could give it more stars I would.

We enjoyed Fish Tales. The home, views, breeze and amenities were consistent with our expectations and hopes as traveling family. It reminds me of key west, home very well taken care of by ownership.

Great vacation at Fish Tales

We had a wonderful stay at Fish Tales! It was everything we needed and hoped for. The little pool was perfect for our children ages 4-10. Tammy was very attentive when we needed her (for minor questions). Overall, a great vacation and we'll be back!

Great times at Fish Tales

We enjoyed our stay here with our kiddos. We enjoyed looking at the stars on the deck. We also enjoyed the pool. The view is great and we will be back! Dyana and Tammy were helpful and great. Thank you!

Fun house near Reef Bay

The house has a nice view over fish Bay and out to little St James to the west. It is easy to get to, would recommend 4 wheel drive for St. John. The breeze through the house is wonderful and there are fans in each room. AC in both bedrooms works fine. It is a short hike from the house down to Reef Bay and then if you are adventurous over to the reef bay trail. We went from there all the way over it little lameshur and snorkeled and came back within a day. The views are amazing! The neighborhood is clean and safe and there are areas to walk. The property manager and the person who meets you at the ferry and drives with you to the property are very knowledgeable and nice and will take care of any issues. Thanks to the property manager for taking care of us when we were delayed a day because we missed our flight! We had a blast hiking and going to beaches all over the island and looking at the stars at night out on the deck. Highly recommended!!

Great stay at Fish Bay

Everyone had a great time staying at Fish Bay. The location was nice and quiet with a nice view of the bay and almost-daily rainbows. There is a pond down below with various ducks and wading birds ( and lucky for us a Scarlet Ibis)!!! The cottage had a nice homey and relaxing feel. We had everything we needed to cook or grill with. Coolers to pack lunch for the day and beach towels. Also had a spotting scope, which came in handy for watching the Scarlet Ibis. The pool was nice to come back to after a day of hiking. Everyone at Fish Bay was very prompt in answering any questions we had. A special shout out to Dayna for trying to keep up with our incoming flight being delayed several times,( just catching the last ferry to St.John), and helping us out on our hike!! We traveled all over the Island and were always glad to come back to Fish Bay. Would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect spot to relax on the island!

Our stay at Fish Tails was absolutely wonderful!! The home was clean, comfortable, and we had everything needed to enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving meal for the holiday. Communication with Tammy was spot on, and we would definitely recommend this stay to anyone coming to St. John.

Enjoyed our St John Fish Tales cottage retreat

Without having any history about the island of St. John, I booked this cottage for our family of 5 (3 teens). Perhaps I might choose a location closer to Cruz Bay next time, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Fish Tales in Fish Bay. We are an adventuresome clan, so this was a bit away from town activities, but if you want quiet and private, this is for you. We never did find the walking pathway to Reef Bay, but honestly, we didn't look very hard. I am sure it's there somewhere. The cottage had everything we needed. Well stocked for anything that you may want to cook. The small sitting pool was certainly helpful to cool us down while spending time on the deck Each sleeping area has A/C, but not throughout the whole cottage. That wasn't a big deal, as we spend many days at the public beaches. Kids figured out how to blue tooth their music playlists with the speaker system in the house and outside deck. We loved that! The place was clean and well cared for. Upon arrival, the welcome lady explained about keeping all food put away, and daily trash removal. Honestly, we didn't really have any issues with any critters looking for food. Our stay at Fish Bay was pleasant and accommodating. Very comfortable!
