Water, Water Everywhere! Shorely Fun is on the bay and the canal! 2 sides of water offer privacy and views! Enjoy wide open water views from every room in the house or while relaxing in the private in-ground pool! Fish from the private dock and tie your boat to the dock for a quick boating getaway!
Shorely Fun has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There are 2 master suites with king beds with attached bathrooms. One bathroom has a tub/shower combo and the other has a walk-in shower. The third bedroom has a queen bed. There is a third bathroom with a walk-in shower. All bedrooms have a smart TV and great views. There is a queen pull out sofa in the living room for additional sleeping for children. We even provide a pack and play for our small guests!
The open concept kitchen features full-size stainless appliances including a built-in oven and glass cooktop. There are plenty of pots, pans, cooking utensils, dinnerware, serving platters, glassware, etc. We also supply a slow cooker, waffle iron, baking pans, electric griddle, food processor, mixer, blender, electric can opener, electric tea pot, coffee brewer, Keurig, popcorn maker and more!! A full-size washer and dryer are just off the kitchen in the pantry.
There is plenty of space for the entire family to gather, play games or watch TV. You can stream a movie, watch DVDs on the Blu-ray, or enjoy your favorite music on the stereo, radio & CD player. In addition to smart TVs and a stereo system, there is Wi-Fi throughout the house.
Your family and friends will enjoy this updated waterfront front home with many amenities, including the swimming pool, private game room, hot tub, boat dock, kayak launch and hot/cold private outdoor shower. There is plenty of seating around the pool for sunning or just gazing out to the bay. Gather on the large decks where you can relax on the rockers and Adirondack chairs while you enjoy the view of the bay. The dining tables are perfect for dining al fresco!
Shorely Fun has a hot tub (also with views), pool table, ping pong table and foos ball table in a private game room! A unique St. George Island house experience! Enjoy 180-degree views of the bay and surrounding area. You will enjoy views of the sunrises and sunsets! And enjoy watching the pelicans and dolphins right from the deck.

It is in a quiet area, only minutes to restaurants, shopping, beach access and the St. George Island light house. Shorely Fun is a short walk, golf cart ride or bike ride to the beautiful beaches of St. George Island. You can dock your boat at our private dock right in the back yard which has a fish cleaning sink, water, and electricity.

There is plenty of covered and uncovered parking for your cars, boat, golf cart and bikes!
If that is not enough, our guests also enjoy discounts from local gear rental stores and for stays up to 21 days, credit towards rentals from VayK!
We are pet friendly! Up to 2 any-size dogs (no other types of pets please) can stay at the house at a time (pet stay will apply – 15% of all pay stays are donated to the Franklin County Humane Society). We provide a large indoor dog crate for your four-legged family members! The fenced yard is perfect for dogs. It has access from the deck (and the deck has gates as well). Please bring covers if your dog sits on furniture.
Kayak right from the back yard, fish from the dock, or just recline on one of the decks and enjoy the beautiful view. When you're done with the day's activities, enjoy the outdoor hot/cold shower and prepare the day's catch on the covered park-style charcoal grill. Shorely Fun will provide the exquisite vacation you want every year.

A little soggy!

We had a lot of rain but it’s Florida. The fact there’s so many things to do at the house was a huge plus. We fished, swam, played pool, kicked butt in foose ball. 😊. Went over to town bought some art. It’s just a very relaxing place.

Breathtaking sunsets and perfect cool breeze deck to enjoy bay views!

This was our 3rd time to St. George and our first time staying on the Bayside. So glad that we did! It was just a short golf cart ride to the beach access and it was so nice and refreshing to return to the calmness of the bay. The deck sits perfectly so you get a nice cool breeze and never get so hot like you do on the beach front homes. Tom and Lucinda are responsive and have made the home as comfortable as possible. Our dogs were able to hang out on the deck with us and go downstairs to go potty when needed. We will be back!!

We are a family that likes to visit a new place every year so this was our first time at St George Island. We had the absolute best week and my entire family said they would definitely want to come back!!!! Every year we book a house to stay in and this house was one of the best we've ever stayed in! The owners have put a lot of thought into making sure the house has all the essentials and the game room below the house is just awesome! The super large deck outside the main living area is shaded from morning until late afternoon which was a fantastic place to sit outside without scorching in the sun. As a fair skinned person this made my trip!!! The view is absolutely amazing so all you'll want to do is sit outside. We caught so many fish right from the dock and in front of the house including catfish, croakers, sheepshead, trout, sting rays and even a bonnethead shark. We used our rental credit that came with the house to rent kayaks and kayaked into the bay. The bay is so calm that it was perfect even for small children. The beach is not too far to walk to but we did end up renting a golf cart for the week to get around. Seems like everyone has a golf cart on the island which also makes for a unique and fun experience as well! Overall one of the best vacations we've had and I highly recommend!!! We'll be back for sure!

Can’t say enough about Shorely Fun…has everything you could possibly want…the most gorgeous sunsets, beautiful view, great location and lots of things for 2 teenage boys to do! The owners are wonderful to deal with and understand pet lovers! Would DEFINITELY recommend this excellent vacation rental!

Shorely the best

Excellent location with room for dogs and teens to enjoy. We rented a pontoon boat and kept at the dock on the property. Great hosts that have right formula for a guaranteed great experience. We certainly will return when available in the future.

Our first vacation on the Bayside, quite nice. Quiet. Love the access to the channel with our kayaks from the property. So dolphins while kayaking. House is exactly as it is listed. Fenced yard was fantastic for our fur baby.

Relaxing and awesome view!

First time visiting SGI, and this place spoiled us! The location is perfect, nice and quiet, but close to everything. The view is fantastic, we saw dolphins everyday just feet from the property, you could’ve waded out to them! Fishing from the dock was awesome, caught some good stuff, biggest was a 22” puppy drum. The pool, game room, and hot tub, make it so you don’t have to leave the house. Our 10 year old daughter enjoyed the little private beach area, our 15 yr old daughter enjoyed fishing and the game room, and being able to spend time to her self. My parents stayed with us on this trip, their second time to SGI, and they loved the bay side. We had one day that rained all afternoon, we spent it in the game room, with the doors open, listening to the waves, and watching the dolphins play. Everything you need is there, and the beds were super comfy! One of the kitchen items was missing, the owners got a replacement the same day we let them know. The only thing I would suggest, bring your own wash clothes, we had 6 people and only 6 wash clothes. No big deal, just washed them and towels daily. If you’re looking for a perfect place on the bay, I highly suggest Shorely Fun!

Peaceful

Our family really enjoyed our stay. Sitting on the deck with morning coffee, fishing on the wonderful dock, paddle boarding, swimming, the overall vacation was wonderful! Our teenagers didn't want to leave the house as it had everything we needed. We would love to come back to this beautiful house and island.

Yellow House

Shorely Fun was renamed the Yellow House by my 2 year old grandson! This is a delightful (yellow) bay front house with a perfectly sweet beach for 2 young boys. We caught crab, fished, used our paddle board, and kayak from the beach and dock area. This is an ideal house if you have small children and grandparents! The house had everything we needed to cook fresh seafood. The view and sunset were exquisite. We saw a sea turtle, many dolphin, jumping fish, and hermit crabs. Our plan is to visit Shorely Fun next September! This is a perfect vacation spot.

Shorely Fun is AMAZING!

Look no further! Shorely Fun has it all. Our family recently stayed at this property and we were blown away at the amenities, views and entertainment offered at the house. We did not have to leave! Our family (ages 1 years old - 58 years old) were all entertained. The pictures do not do this home justice! And, the owners communicated quickly anytime I reached out! This house was everything and we cannot wait to visit again.

RelaxIng with a view

This was the first time we’ve stayed on the bayside at any beach trip which turned out to be pretty awesome. Dolphins visited the cove almost every day @high tide, saw otters one morning at the waters edge which was real neat. The dock was a great place to fish from and to get a close look at the dolphins. We all enjoyed the pool and playroom which had something for everyone on the rainy days. The bedrooms all were very comfortable, we were concerned with size from pics but the place is bigger than pics show. Kitchen was good sized and had every utensil we needed. Good hot showers were a plus and the outside shower was a hit. Only downside is a little bit of a hassle to get the entire crew to and from the beach with gear and a 3yr old. The deck was also the main hangout and perfect place to watch the sunset.
