"Hoped to stay in old part, not quite the same atmosphere in newer section! Toilet was dirty and mud on floor on arrival. Ordered cheese pasty and got a meat one! Too late to change. Fish and chips were excellent, small portion plenty for each of us. A lovely place to stay, recommend read Daphne DuMauriers book. Great position to explore both coast lines. "

"This was our favorite place to stay in the UK so far. The room was spacious and clean, and the included breakfast excellent. The pub offered drink and food specials that helped us stay in budget- and were of excellent quality. The location is easily walkable to Port Issac and local walking trails. We highly recommend the Port Gaverne! "

"I really wanted to like the Camelot, and wasn’t expecting it to be high spec or anything, but was mostly really put off by two things: the bedding was quite scratchy, and the bathroom was a complete shock. "Hotel reception wasn’t well signed. Rooms were clean, but corridors were quite dirty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Main restaurant wasn’t available so had to eat in a stark feeling cafe area which wasn’t so nice. The staff were very accommodating regarding allergy issues. The steak wasn’t very good. Breakfast in the restaurant area was nice. Again staff were attentive."
