Even if you need to take a moment to relax, Fun, Fun, Fun has what you need - sit a spell on the front porch or choose one of the 4 bedrooms for a respite. When you're ready to explore, you'll be 5 minutes away from Historic Downtown St. Augustine where you'll find quaint shops and fabulous restaurants and only 10 minutes away from Vilano Beach where you can play the day away. So, if you want to sip from Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth or if you'd rather taste the spirit of Florida at the St. Augustine Distillery, you will have a good time during your stay at Fun, Fun, Fun by Portoro.



The Space:

When you arrive at Fun, Fun, Fun by Portoro you will first be enchanted by the bright, cheery colors and charming front porch, just imagining having your morning coffee or a sunset chat with friends. Step inside to the first of two living areas and you'll find loads of comfortable seating, books and board games, and a smart TV to watch your favorite movies and shows. It is a great space for some quality family time or for catching up with your friends. This living area opens into the second living area that offers more seating and even a desk if you need to catch up on some work.



The second living area has a passthrough window to the kitchen, so everyone can stay connected. The kitchen is well appointed with appliances and ample counter space so you can cook up delicious meals for your family and friends. Once the food is ready, there are two tables in the dining room - one round table that seats 4 and a larger, rectangular table that seats 6.



When it's time to call it a night, there are 4 bedrooms to fit everyone. Bedroom 1 includes a queen bed and a single bed. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a set of bunk bed singles. Bedroom 3 contains 2 single over queen bunk bed sets and Bedroom 4 has a single bed with a a single trundle bed. To freshen up, there are two full bathrooms equipped with towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner.



Fun, Fun, Fun by Portoro is a comfortable home that provides the space and features you need to have a great time, but don't forget about all of the fun places and activities nearby! Here are some suggestions to get you started enjoying everything St. Augustine has to offer:



Vilano Beach: Just 10 minutes away, Vilano Beach offers a serene coastal escape with its wide, sandy shores, gentle waves, and charming, laid-back atmosphere. It's perfect for relaxing on the beach, exploring nearby dunes, or enjoying scenic views from the historic Vilano Beach Pier. Don't forget to take the boogie boards from our home for added fun! When you get back, there's an outdoor shower conveniently located on the porch to rinse all the sand and salt water off.



Historic Downtown St. Augustine: 5 minutes away, you'll find historic downtown St. Augustine, the oldest continuously inhabited European-established settlement in the United States. It enchants visitors with its cobblestone streets, centuries-old architecture, and vibrant blend of museums, shops, and restaurants.



St. Augustine Distillery: Nestled within the lovingly restored FPL Ice Plant, a building dating back to 1917, the St. Augustine Distillery offers an immersive experience. Visitors can embark on a self-guided tour, where exploration and learning intertwine, or opt for a more in-depth adventure with premium guided tour offerings.



*Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced. Per County regulation, this house can accommodate 10 "occupants," excluding children 12 years of age or under. However, the house sleeps a total of 14.



Guest Access:

We offer convenient keyless door codes for self-check-in. Wren Beach Rentals by Portoro uses smart locks with check-in details provided 48 hours prior to arrival by email and text message.



• Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.



Getting Around:

Immerse yourself in the blend of adventure and activity by renting a bicycle. Lose yourself in enchanting streets, uncover hidden treasures, and enjoy the ocean breeze. Take in a leisurely pace with beachfront strolls, explore shops, and savor local cuisine on foot.



Enhance your experience with a sunset cruise, offering breathtaking views and the chance to spot playful dolphins. For the adventurous, rent kayaks, paddleboards, and other watercraft to explore our beautiful estuaries and waterways.



Local favorites include Brewer Beach Rentals, St. Augustine City Tours, and Adventure Boat Tours.



Please note that beach driving is not permitted.



Other Things to Note:

Please pay close attention to following the house rules. Non compliance could result in sizable fines.

- All guests staying at one of our Starkey Properties by Portoro homes are required to sign (esignature) a rental agreement and complete identity registration.

- Age restrictions apply. Reservation holder must be 25 years of age.

- All guests must be included on the guest list and not exceed the maximum number stated on the listing.

- Upon arrival, we aim to ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features. ALL guests are required to read the house manual upon arrival. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Starkey Properties by Portoro.

- Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately.

- Before check in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival.

- Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.

- We cannot guarantee early check ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night.

- Some homes offer pools/hot tubs. There is no guard around the water features when available. Use at your own risk.

- Some homes have cameras for external monitoring only.

- Stays over 29 days – please inquire separately for terms and conditions.

- HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both St. Johns County and the State of Florida require all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6.5% and the county requires 5%.

- LONG-TERM STAYS: (Snowbird, long-term rental). Contact Wren Beach Rentals by Portoro to discuss if a long-term stay discount applies to this listing. Stays over six months are waived from paying the State and Local Hotel Tax. However, there are additional fees we need to collect for damage coverage and housekeeping. In compliance with our policies for long-term stays, we need to collect an additional cleaning fee for guests staying longer than 3 weeks. Your Guest Ambassador will coordinate the cleaning schedule for a minimum of once every 2 weeks. You can request cleanings more frequently if desired. Additional cleaning charges will be sent using a payment request or resolution request, immediately following the cleaning. Your guest ambassador will reply shortly and be available to assist you where needed.

- This is a No Smoking property. Penalty fees for violations will apply and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of the Host.

- This home is pet-friendly. Please note, only dogs allowed and 50lb weight limit, up to 2 dogs per stay with the following guidelines. (This does not apply to service animals):

- $225 for the 1st pet, $125 for additional pet per stay. These fees are non-refundable.

- All breeds accepted

- Pets must be responsive to owner commands, stay off furniture, and not bark excessively.

- Pet owners must pick up and dispose of pet excrement in the provided trash receptacles.

- Pets are not permitted anywhere on the premises unless prior approval is obtained.

- For the safety of guests and the home, there are noise monitoring devices. These devices only measure the decibel level and do NOT record any audio.



Interaction with Guests:

Wren Beach Rentals by Portoro communicates via email and phone. After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 48 hours prior to arrival date (keyless entry). We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check with no need to stop in at a local office. We do typically check in with guests by email/text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions/inquiries. We are available to guests 24/7.



We follow the CDC Recommended Cleaning Guidelines. You can rest assured this property has been completely sanitized prior to check-in.

Hidden away in the marshes of St. Augustine is one of the most important sites in American history: the first free community of ex-slaves, founded in 1738 and called Gracia Real de Santa Teresa de Mose or Fort Mose (pronounced Moh-Say). Fort Mose played an extremely important role in the development of colonial North America.

As early as 1687, the Spanish government had begun to offer asylum to slaves who managed to escape from British colonies (the first Underground Railroad ran SOUTH to Florida from the colonies!). In 1693, the Spanish Crown officially proclaimed that runaways would find freedom in Florida, in return for converting to Catholicism and a term for men of four years' military service to the Crown. In effect, Spain created a maroon settlement in Florida as a front-line defense against English attacks from the north. Spain also intended to destabilize the plantation economy of the British colonies by creating a free black community to attract slaves seeking escape and refuge from British slavery.

Fort Mose was the first free African settlement legally sanctioned in what would become the United States and had a total population of about 100. The village had a wall around it, with dwellings inside, plus a church and an earthen fort.

Very disappointed

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at this property, especially given the price. The home was not at all as expected, and the overall experience was frustrating.First and foremost, the cleanliness was unacceptable. There was mold in multiple bathrooms, including a large mold spore growing on the back bathroom window, which made it clear that certain areas hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. Dog hair was everywhere—on the furniture and even in the bed sheets. It was unsettling to arrive at a rental that felt so unkempt.Beyond cleanliness, the house had several maintenance and safety concerns. The coffee maker didn’t work, and multiple outlets in different rooms were non-functional. The “fourth bedroom” isn’t actually a bedroom—it’s just a space sectioned off by a curtain, which was misleading. The house itself seems to have major foundation issues, as the entire structure noticeably slopes to one side.Additionally, there were plumbing and structural issues. The shower with the tub leaked at the handle, causing water to run down the wall and puddle on the floor. Even worse, the roof leaks over the code bar area, and we had to continually clean up the water.We had high expectations based on the listing,
