The fridge didn’t work. Initially we thought it had been turned off but 2nd day we turned temp up (takes 24 hours), 3rd day we called owner who said they weren’t aware of problem (but they knew the ice maker wasn’t working because they had ice trays in freezer, but they did call property manager and Laura (from onsite office) went above & beyond to get a repair person in that day. of course a part (new fan motor I believe) had to be ordered. It was repaired, finally, on Friday, and lo and behold that fixed the ice maker, too, we left Saturday. We had to throw all the food in the fridge away and had to eat all our meals out. Not an apology or any kind of compensation from owner. Plus, the pool heater didn’t work because, we were told, it was too cold at night (was in 30’s 2 nights) so pool was so cold it was unusable, but the pool at the resort our family was staying at was wonderfully warm so we had to go there everyday. The only reason we came to Pier Point South was because the pool was supposed to be heated as swimming is how I exercise. The unit was nice & comfortable, the location was superb, we loved being able to walk to Island Bagels & Donuts (the best we’ve ever had, anywhere) and Sunset Grille, Crabby’s and other restaurants.

Beach stay

We loved the location and access to the heated pool. There were several restaurants within walking distance of the rental. The property also had some items to use at the beach such as beach towels, a cooler, chairs, and boogie boards. The property was comfortable and well cared for. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect condo in the best location

My family had a great vacation here, we even stayed an extra day. We were able to walk out on the beach right out the back door! Many restaurants within 2 blocks but we also cooked a few meals. Kitchen is well equipped. Very comfortable living room and bedrooms, made it easy to relax. Communication with Robb was excellent, very accommodating. We will book again next time back in town.

Beautiful and well maintained with access to everything you could want. Robb was so kind and helpful with our accommodations and response was outstanding. We will be back and hopefully be able to stay here again! Thank you Robb and Lisa.

Awesome Location and Super Nice

This is the fourth time we stayed at this location and the second time in this unit and it is by far the nicest one we have stayed in. We love the location and the pool. We were bummed this year about the dredging of the beach and we’re not expecting that but we still had a great time. The unit is fixed so nice and is so comfortable.

This property is everything it appears to be. Super location only steps from the pool and a few steps from the ocean. The woman in the office was extremely kind and helpful. We walked across the street for meals. I would definitely go back most enjoyable.

Wonderful place to stay in a great location

The property was very clean and just as advertised. Short walk to the beach and many restaurants, and only about a 10 minute drive to downtown Saint Augustine. The beach chairs and towels were a nice added touch. Island donuts is just around the corner and great. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

The condo itself was great. The kitchen tops were not very clean and the floors were, I guess, sandy. Nice restaurants within walking distance. Short drive to downtown St. Augustine. Beach access at low tides was super. Had to walk a few blocks south to access the beach when the tide was more than a couple of hours either side of low. Never saw anyone from management. The office seemed to always be closed. But we didn't need anything from them so it was cool. All in all we had a great time there.
