Four Winds - 1st Floor

FOUR WINDS (first floor with private entrance) has solid Brazilian cherry floors, cherry doors and trim, two window seats, and a lovely oak kitchen furnished with dishes, cooking and baking pans, a dishwasher, a self-cleaning electric range, a refrigerator, microwave, desk, and dining room table. The beautiful woodwork throughout was lovingly hand-made by the former owner’s father.

The first-floor bathroom features a modern, walk-in double shower with an Italian quarry tile floor and walls. The shower is fully handicap accessible, with a bench and two adjustable showerheads. A stacked washer and dryer is also present for use by guests and staff.

The living room has a queen-sized Murphy bed with a memory foam mattress, and a full-size futon for comfortable seating during the day and overall sleeping for 2 to 4 at night. The futon is a specially made, front-loading, wall-hugger model made for easy conversion from sofa to bed. We are happy to have one or both units made into beds upon check-in, but they can be set up for easy conversion during the day. These rooms are decorated in subtle shades of moss green, cherry wine, butterscotch, dusty blue, and plum with hand-made window treatments and coverlets. *This floor is ADA accessible via outside ramp.
