Jardí Botànic de St. Andrews

The room was clean and comfortable, and overall the guesthouse is quiet. Plenty of off-street parking is available. No staff were on-site that I saw (certainly no-one at reception), though a contact number was provided. No toiletries were provided in the room, not even hand soap. No proper garden to speak of, despite this being listed as a 'main amenity'.

We were in the separate guest building and had no real issues! Room was clean and building was clean! We had no breakfast at the location and parking. Was right next to building!interaction with staff was limited to check in only!

Unfortunately, the worst stay I’ve ever had. The shower was mouldy and covered in grime. When I asked for it to be cleaned, so much bleach was used that I couldn’t stay in my room and had to leave the window and door open to air it out. When I requested a room change, staff were awkward and refused, offering room spray instead! This is the most expensive accommodation I’ve ever paid for, yet the worst experience. There are much better places to stay in Edinburgh. Unfortunately, our usual hotel was fully booked due to this being a last-minute trip. Wouldn’t recommend.
