The home has been recently updated for comfort and style, featuring hardwood floors throughout, a kitchen with white shaker cabinets, granite countertops, new appliances, and a counter bar that opens to the living room and seats six comfortably.

Gorgeous, cozy, and quaint little house but plenty of space. Beautiful decor. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Lake is at the end of the street and very beautiful. Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much!

Linny's cottage was the most comfortable & welcoming VRBO property we have ever visited! It was instantly apparent that our hostess had put a lot of effort into how to put guests at ease. Every possible need was anticipated and provided for. Additional welcoming efforts included her QŔ code that provided guests with local information and recommendations. A package of cookie mix was waiting and the butter needed to make the cookies was waiting in the fridge.The front deck, set up with 2 tables, 6 chairs and an umbrella, provided a perfect place for visiting friends and family.We look forward to staying again when in the area, and friends who came to visit are likely to be recommending Linny's. Cottage, too!

The cottage is adorable. Well appointed and very clean. All the snuggly throws were appreciated on the days that were raining and chilly. The beds were comfy and the pillows nice and fluffy. Nice to have a sofa and a side chair in the living room. The entry into the house is where the laundry is. Wicked convenient. Thanks for hosting us.

Cozy Cottage for Christmas

We had a very comfortable stay at the Cozy Cottage. Stayed warm during very cold weather conditions. Clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. I loved having the washer and dryer available!

The Lakeview Cottage exceeded expectations! My family was visiting from out of state for our daughters’ Cheer Competition and it was the perfect home away from home. Home was clean, Host was very communicative and accommodating, would definitely book again!

Lovely place for our family vacation!

The house had everything we needed for our stay. The area is very quiet and we enjoyed to sit on the porch in the afternoon watching birds and squirrels. Kids loved the TV and candy jar of course. Highly effective air condition, but a bit noisy - might just be us Norwegian that is not used to AC however. The nearby Southwick rail trail was perfect for jogging/powerwalks in the morning. Great communication and follow-up during the stay. Recommended!

Perfect Quiet Place For Us!

This place was perfect. We drove over 4 hours to get here for Six Flags and Stanley Park and this was a welcoming and wonderful quiet location for our family. The only thing to note was the AC situation. The bedroom with the king bed that has AC was very hot and the AC was broken. We did reach out to the host and they were very responsive but still it was an inconvenience. The location was great, the house was overall clean and we loved being able to walk down to see the lake. Thank you to wonderful hosts!

Consistently comfortable

This is my 3rd stay at Linny's house in Southwick. What a beautiful house. So cute and comforting. High end mattresses and bedding. Each room is so wonderfully decorated. One small detail that we suggest: a hard backed chair for older folks that have issues getting up out of soft furniture. It's a cozy house with all the amenities. My daughter appreciated the Roku tv and the candy jar!!

Clean and Cozy New England Retreat

This cozy cottage is safe, clean, extraordinarily quiet and nicely appointed. Perfect size for a couple or small family. It is steps away from the lake, walking distance to the Southwick Rail Trail, a 5-minute drive to the supermarket and 20 minutes to Bradley International Airport.
