Mermaid Life, Sleeps 6 W/ Gulf Access

This listing is a newly remolded modular home with 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. It has a large kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. Plenty of space to gather around the island. Smart TV in main living room with Netflix. 2 sets of sliding glass doors open up to a large deck with seating and a gas grill. All bedrooms have a queen size bed. 6 kayaks are on the property along with a fire pit. Bring your boat we have a dock.

So much to do in Weeki Wachee…..Rogers Park, Pine Island, Weeki Wachee State Park, NJoy Distillery, Mary's Fish Camp. Tour old Florida and sight see at the look out tower, Simply stay in the neighborhood and kayak (6 on property) or ride bikes to the neighborhood swimming hole which is fed by a salt spring. Bring a fishing pole and enjoy the backyard. At night build a fire and just relax. You'll feel as if you've gone back 20 yrs. The main river is great but Mud River is a hidden gem. You're close enough to enjoy the Weeki Wachee River which is a short kayak trip away but also get a taste of old Florida. Kayak and swim Little Salt Spring without the overload of people. You'll also have access to out door games like corn hole an janga.

The dock behind the house is yours to use. We have 2 local boat ramps located at Rogers Park and Bay Port

The property was great. Very clean and remodeled nicely 50ish double wide trailer. It is on a water way with direct Gulf access. Huge mullet, salt cat and trout. My son and I fished while there. Nice back yard, but the sand flees were out of control. I and my son were bit up all over. Overall a great place. We would definitely stay again.

Great 3 generational vacation time

Our family ranging from 9 to 73 had a wonderful time at the Mermaid Life. Everything we needed from cooking equipment to play time equipment was provided. We used all the kayaks, a couple of bikes and played corn hole and family games during the evenings. The home itself was perfect with everything provided and a well supplied kitchen. We just had to show up and have a great family time. Thank you Mermaid Life, we will be back

Great little Getaway

Nice place very clean . We enjoyed the deck and watching fish jump even caught a catfish off of dock ..Rode bikes all over and everyone was nice even the neighbors.Would go back for sure .

Mermaid Life - 5 Stars!!!

Karen was a delightful host. She was very willing to answer any questions. The property was VERY clean and well equipped. Our family enjoyed using the kayaks and bikes that were provided. We would highly recommend this property!

Great property. Great attention from homeowner.

Karen was very responsive when answering questions about the area. The house was very representative of what the pictures showed. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and the updates in the house. Plenty of outside seating. Indoor and outdoor Games- fun for all ages. Relaxing and peaceful area.

Karen was a great host from the start. The neighborhood is like a mix of trailer homes and wood homes. Home itself was excellent, it had everything you need to have a good time. Kitchen looks fully renovated as well as the living area. The outside deck was great for entertaining and bbq lunch. We’re happy the host had additional amenities to do like bike riding, kayaks. Our family and friend enjoy the entire experience. We saw some manatees riding kayak in the canal in the back. The canal ride to the open area is a short 10min kayak ride. Saturday we went to the Wikkee wakee state park , has live mermaid show and slides and lots of other cool things to do. Overall experience was great.

Spring break

If you are looking for a restful getaway, definitely give Mermaid Life a visit. The home was cozy and convenient filled with anything you would need to make you feel at home. Karen is attentive and ensures that you are comfortable throughout your entire stay. The home is clean and you can tell that there is pride of ownership. Not to mention the decor which gives the home a personal touch without being tacky or overdone. The springs are a wonder and being able to see mantatee (sometimes large groups of them) from the back dock made you never want to leave the home. We fished with the kids (Karen brought over poles and a tackle box and we picked up frozen shrimp from the Outpost) and the kids caught multiple fish (we think they were snapper) and had a great time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already planning for next year.

Spring Break get away

This property was just as advertised! We were very happy with the location, the cleanliness of the property and the upgrades of the little home! The home and kitchen had everything we needed for our stay including kayaks, bikes a grill and Karen even brought over some fishing poles for our boys when we requested them! The large deck was perfect for relaxing, having morning coffee and eating meals. Karen was so responsive and always checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay :) She went above and beyond! The area was quiet and when we wanted to kayak to the beach or to eat it wasn't a bad trek at all. Our teenage boys even had a great time! (The corn hole that was provided was a big hit.) Would highly recommend this hidden gem. (The only thing I would have wanted was maybe some extra blankets and pillows- but that was not a big deal at all)

Weeki wachee stay

This house has EVERYTHING! The host was attentive and kind! It was clean and we wanted for nothing. She even had the bonfire ready to go with extra wood, brought over a tackle box, and fishing poles for the whole family. I would absolutely stay here again!!

Everything we needed!

This home was just what we needed for a relaxing vacation. It’s in a quiet neighborhood but close to restaurants and stores. The home was light-filled and airy. This is Old Florida- not a lot of commercialization like other parts of the state; the big draw is the ability to enjoy relaxation on the river and we did just that! Karen was a fantastic hostess. The house was clean and was stocked with everything we needed. She promptly responded to messages and was very helpful overall. Highly recommend!

Amazing rental from start to finish!!

My family enjoyed a wonderful week in Mermaid Life! We spent all of our time outside in the kayaks exploring and enjoying the area. The home was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a wonderful trip. The neighborhood was quiet, but also, it was close to everything. Karen was a wonderful host, and our family is already talking about our next trip to the area.

Well kept property. Exceptional host. Designed for fun and function.

We loved this place. Very clean, so many fun options onsite. Karen made sure we had a kayak, bicycle, and fishing pole for each member of our group. I asked the day before check-in if there were fishing supplies at the house. She said, “No, but I will make sure there are poles and a bait bucket by the time you get there”. Lots of indoor and outdoor games, a nice gas grill, and washer/drier. The kitchen has everything you need, just bring food. The SMART TV worked great for music while we played games. Our party of 6 was very comfortable. Karen is an exceptional host. Perfectly attentive without being too much. She gave us excellent recommendations for area restaurants and activities, as well. I highly recommend this property.

Great spot!

We LOVED this spot. Very clean and cute. Stocked with everything you may need. Take a kayak up to the swimming hole and salt spring. Short trip to the Weeki Wachee to spend the day on the river. Had fun fishing off the dock. Friendly neighbors. As advertised!! Very helpful and nice owner. We will be back!

Kayak Haven

We really enjoyed our month long stay at this updated, comfortable place kayaking, biking and enjoying nature - herons, blue birds, manatees, dolphins, etc. It's tucked into a quieter area but very convenient to stores, restaurants, churches, parks, sunset spots, brewery, theater. The owner is very responsive and we plan on returning. It was just what we were looking for.
