Be wowed by The Water's Edge open floor plan that provides unparalleled views of the canal from almost every room in the house! Enjoy the large living room with fireplace, plenty of seating, stunning cathedral ceilings, and multiple sliding glass doors that lead out to two decks that overlook the canal. Descend the deck's wide stairways and sunbathe in one of the many comfortable lounge chairs by the pool, or relax and take a dip in the hot tub! Enjoy the sunset from the elevated deck under the lanai or walk out to the 30 foot private dock. With direct Gulf access and a deep water canal, bring your boat too! The public boat launch is only walking distance away from The Water's Edge. Enjoy grilling? Barbecue with a view from the barbecue deck complete with its own table and chairs. The Water's Edge also has a fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and bar stools. It is the perfect location to prepare the catch of the day, brew a fresh cup of coffee, or mix your favorite drink.
The Water's Edge comfortably sleeps up to 6 while providing plenty of room to relax, mingle and stretch out. There are three bedrooms and a large reading area/office with balcony that overlooks the main floor. The master bedroom is located on the main floor while the other two guest bedrooms are located on the top floor with their own full bath. The upstairs bedrooms are easily accessed by ascending a spiral staircase from the main floor.

Aside from its top-notch accommodations, the Water's Edge provides bikes and kayaks to fuel your adventurous spirit! Take a relaxing bike ride around the neighborhood or paddle through the many breathtaking canals and take in the scenery. If you love fishing, there is no need to leave the house! Enjoy fishing right off the dock.
The Water's Edge is located minutes from seven excellent local restaurants, most of which have tiki bars, live music, and all of which are pet friendly. Craving seafood? Very nice property

This property was wonderful! Nice quiet neighborhood yet close to restaurants and shopping. The hot tub was great. House was nicely furnished and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Great vacation!

Beautiful well maintained home! We had a great relaxing vacation! We enjoyed relaxing by the pool , cooking out on the grill. We also enjoyed the many great restaurants and bars on the beach. We look forward to staying here again!

Hernando Beach Vacation Home

We spent 5 nights and had a great time. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The dock was great and we kept our boat in the water the entire time giving us direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. The owner made the rental very easy.

Pleasant stay with family in Florida

The house was excellent for our Christmas visit with our son and his family in Florida. The house worked perfectly for us and Ed, the owner, was extremely helpful during our stay. We are looking forward to returning sometime in the future.

Relaxing stay

We had an amazing stay at Ed's house. The house has everything you could possibly need for the week. We loved the hot tub and pool and spent most of our time there. It was very quiet but close to great restaurants, kayaking, grocery stores etc.. will definitely consider renting again.

Gorgeous getaway

This place was a little slice of heaven for the family and I. We had so much fun having access to a pool and it really made it special for the kiddos. Having the dock on the canal was a nice touch for some intermittent fishing too. I would 10/10 visit this site again!

Nice House

We enjoyed our time here. Having the pool available and outside seating was very nice. The location worked great for us as we have family and friends who live in Spring Hill. Communication with the owner was great. We will be back!

Great Home

You'll feel welcomed at Waters Edge

We had a fantastic stay at Waters Edge! The home was just as pictured with phenomenal amenities, warmth and decor. This is a PERFECT Florida get-away home with your own pool and spa. The screened in area is a major plus! Ed was extremely helpful and responded quickly to any of our questions. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property to friends and family! Bravo to Ed!

Pool and spa were great. View was amazing. Grandson visited one day and went kayaking with me his Grandma. Weather cooperated for relaxing outside. We found a nearby beach to watch sunset. Walmart close. Grillled mostly. husband has limited mobility

Pure Relaxation :)

What a beautiful home! My wife, Sandy, is an elementary school teacher and we needed to find a nice place to relax and chill over her Spring Break. Well, we found it. Ed, the owner, was most gracious and wanted to make sure we had a great time. He was very easy to talk to and gave us pointers on a few things around the house. It was well stocked, very clean, the hot tub/pool was fantastic, and plenty to do around the area. Very enjoyable and we hope to be back to The Waters Edge soon.

Great house and location

Everything we wanted. Pool. Hot tub. Kayaks. We were able to rent a boat and jet skis within 2 miles of the house. Great TV and recliners for the evenings. Perfect multi level deck for morning coffee! Lots of good dining close by. Easy and direct ride to airport. Ed was fast at communicating with us when needed.

Fantastic Stay!!!

The house, pool/hot tub, and surrounding area were fantastic!!! We enjoyed taking morning walks and checking out all the other homes. We were worried about the stairs and spiral staircase, due to our ages 60+. But, they never caused any problems. Restaurants and bars are all within 5 miles. Ed was available to talk when we needed any information. He is a great host.

Great place to vacation

We had a great time at Ed's place in Hernando Beach. Ed was a great communicator and when I mentioned we had three boys ages 11, 9 and 9 and we were interested in bringing our bicycles he went out and bought three new bikes for the boys! We split time laying around the pool and investigating the local area and restaurants. We even chartered a fishing outing that took us 40 miles out into the gulf where we caught snapper, amberjack, grouper, grunts and hogfish. If you're looking for a great fishing outing get in touch with Mason at Royal Sea Excursions. We will certainly consider coming back next year at spring break! Thanks Ed.

Great winter getaway

My husband and I stayed at this property for 6 weeks. We loved the house and all the different outdoor locations you can hang out depending on the weather. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals and the beds were comfortable. We liked sitting at the veranda and watching the fish jump in the canal. The jacuzzi was a big plus, since it wasn't necessarily pool weather in February. We also liked having the Weeki Wachee Preserve so close by to take bike rides and walks. The only complaint we have is that there was a lot of construction noise due to one neighbor renovating his house and the other installing an inground pool, but that is not something the owner was in control of. Ed was super responsive when we had questions, always got back to us right away and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable.

Not as expected

The hot tub and pool seemed smaller than expected. Kids still enjoyed pool. The hot tub was difficult to get running, I had to ask since there were no instructions. Food was left in dishwasher so it smelled horribly when we checked in. Some mold in cabinets, under beds very dusty as were closets. A dirty blanket was thrown in bedroom closet. The keurig had a coffee pod left in there for a VERY long time. The water reservoir was dirty and had mold in the lid. Told owner of mold and dirty issues at check in, so hopefully it was better for the next guests. Had to fill pool the day before we left, per owner request.
