"Front desk guys were very welcoming , friendly and helpful! The staff in charge of the kitchen not so kind , they were somehow rude to help when asked a question During breakfast time . Good location. Not so close by foot to the city center, but easy access by buss which stop it right outside the hotel. We had a great stay overall. "

"Beautiful rooms with a view of Edinburgh Castle and other nearly monuments. Clean and comfortable rooms and delicious hot or cold breakfasts. The staff is both friendly and helpful. We were only there one night and didn't get to use the library or frequent the bar. But we want to next time. Set in a safe neighborhood within walking distance of the tram and buses. Great value!"

"Overall was average, but we kind of knew what to expect. Nothing too bad. The positive was the size of the family room. It was really spacious. Downsides were the bunk beds were next to the lift shaft which was a little noisy and the room had no air con and it was a bit warm."

"Belford was my first night in Edinburgh and it was super chill. An easy walk from Haymarket station, the 24/7 check-in was really nice. I had a lovely private room (only 4 of those, so book early!) and the staff were super friendly and kind. It was a chill, well-stocked place right besides Dean Village and not far from West End and their nice bars and cafes. "
