"The staff was super friendly and helpful. They even decorated our room for our honeymoon. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice weekend getaway. The rooms are very nice, modern and love the full size kitchen and BBQ pits outside. The lodge is close to stores, local resteraunts and even several bars and dance halls. Definitely a five stars in our books."

"Yes hot tub was nice and pool was clean just too cold to swim in this month . Enjoyed the hiking trails on the property and a short drive into Wimberly for some shopping . There’s a HEB in Wimberly too fro your groceries. Eric is the property manager and he is a very nice person! Will definitely stay here again given the opportunity. "

"We found this property while needing a last minute pet friendly hurricane evacuation plan. Location was great and the owners were really great to work with! My kids loved being right at the lake and they have all the lake amenities you need (bait, splash mats, boat rental info). Great place to get away from it all and relax."
