Platja de Policoro

The front desk was incredibly rude. Our room wasn't ready at check in, the AC in our room was broken, the front desk hung up on us multiple times when we called down to ask for help with the broken AC and then was completely unhelpful and incredibly rude when we came down to ask for help, the restaurant onsite doesn't open until 8:00PM, so if traveling with kids or if you're used to eating earlier take that into account (I understand it's Italy but it's an airport right next to an international airport, would be nice to have food options earlier in the evening), the pool was nice, there was a reliable airport shuttle, the property was clean, and despite the broken AC the junior suite was roomy and clean. But based on the rude front desk, the lack of care for guests, and the experience we had I would not recommend this property unless you have no other choice.

This is one of the finest hotels we have visited in Italy. Beautiful Italian design, careful and complete amenities, a lovely, menu-driven breakfast, and an outstanding dinner. It is well-situated to visit the old city. If for no other reason, visit Bari to stay here! (This is the most positive review I have ever written.)
