Complete privacy in the middle of the woods! Amish-built family log cabin on 40 acres overlooking swimming pond with sandy beach and all the amenities of home (except WI-FI!).
20 mins from Black River Falls & Sparta. Across the road from 3,500 acres of county forest. Near hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, golfing, ATV trails, boat & ATV rentals, Amish stores & communities, winery. Charming, comfortable, lots of windows, large screened porch. Deer, turkeys, birds.
Renting to families, married couples (great for a honeymoon!) and occasional singles on retreat.
Fort McCoy with boat rentals 12 miles from cabin .

Beautiful cabin and property, well stocked with just about everything we needed from cookware to bedding to condiments. Perfectly sized for our family of four. We stayed in fall, and the wood stove and electric blanket kept us cozy. There was a variety of beach toys for our kids, and a little network of trails to explore the property. The host was very helpful with getting us set up in the cabin and suggesting activities. All in all a great experience!

Loved the privacy and quiet! We had wonderful evenings enjoying the fire pit and looking at the stunning night sky. Spent a wonderful afternoon on the dock and enjoyed visiting Sparta. Was a great place to stay to visit Cranfest, too!

What a perfect and beautiful place for a quiet and secluded getaway. I've been through some significant life trauma this year and desperately needed some peace. I happened to find this amazing listing, and it was such a blessing. Peg is the epitome of kindness, and you can't ask for a better host with better communication. The cabin, pond, and setting are all just perfect. Bring your food, and you need nothing else to have the perfect, quiet vacation. I wish I could have stayed longer. I hope to be back again some time with less a heavy heart so I can enjoy and explore the area a little further. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with me.

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and it did not disappoint! Our family made great memories away from the demands of everyday life. We swam, fished, played games, star-gazed and watched movies. The cabin had everything we needed to cook our own meals. Thanks Dave and Peg!

The photos in the property description are completely accurate. The house was clean and well stocked. Plenty of dishes, pots/pans. Two large tables to sit at. I feel that there was more furniture in the house than pictured, which was a bonus.The entire property was beautiful and well maintained. Lawn swing, outdoor chairs, picnic table, fire pit and grill. The pond was easy to enter, aerated 24/7, and refreshing to swim in. The pond also brought wildlife, such as deer and birds.Communication with Peg was great. This home is loved. You could sense that as soon as you were driving up the driveway. Paths were cut through the woods for walking trails. Wood pile for guest to use. A screened-in porch to enjoy being outside during rain. Amazing place. I would recommend this house and hope to stay again.

Wonderful secluded cabin in the woods with everything you need.Was visited by a mother Doe and fawn two times and had a Blue Heron land in the pond.Air conditioning units lower and upper were nice for sleeping.Plenty of floats for the pond and sand toys and squirt guns for the kids.I have a 4 and 3 year old and the sand beach was absolutely perfect for them.Kids enjoyed fishing and caught lots of pan fish and also caught tad poles.Not a far drive to surrounding towns, also enjoyed hiking at Black River Falls State Forest.Would recommend to anyone that wants a quiet secluded vacation.

Fantastic slice of nature

My family enjoyed our stay very much. The hosts are very kind and the property is perfectly suited for natural family fun! We also enjoyed biking the Elroy Sparta State Trail. I highly recommend this place!

Our perfect getaway

The cabin was amazing. Peg & Dave had everything there we needed The pond was fun and nice and chilly. Dave & Peg were very helpful with suggestions on places to visit, which were all great places.I highly recommend staying here. It was nice and secluded yet not far from Sparta and Black River Falls. If your a bicyclist you must do the elroy sparta bike trail at least to tunnle 3, it was very cool.

Great for a quiet retreat

My husband and I stayed the weekend to get away from the business of life. We loved sitting by the fire, stargazing, and listening to the owl's chatter. The bed was comfortable, and the cabin was clean and cozy. We would love to stay again!

Everyone loved every second we were there. Peaceful, fun and relaxing. Hosts were responsive, however I did not need them. Pond was warm and great for fishing, floating and swimming.

My sister and I always take our nieces and nephews on a yearly camping trip. We thought we would try a cabin this year! It was wonderful. Didn’t have to worry about other people being intrusive. Another great stay

Another great vacation at Two Camps. We have stayed here several times and always enjoy our stay. The cabin is beautiful and everything you need is provided. The kids loved swimming and playing on the beach all day and enjoyed the peace around the fire at night.

Secluded cabin in the woods

We enjoyed staying here with our kids for a few days. It is about 20 minutes from town. The home was very clean. My kids loved swimming and fishing. The screened in pourch was nice because the bugs were bad. It was nice to have the washing machine and clothes line. Lots of movie choices for rhe kids. It was a quiet and cozy spot and we enjoyed staying here. The only things that was frustrating at times was our phones did not work the best but I could usually get text messages to go through. Overall a very nice place

Perfect Family Getaway

Our family of 5 stayed and had a fantastic time! We loved being surrounded by all trees! The beach is fantastic, fine, sugar like sand. Our two littles age 5 and 8 spent hours building sand castles and playing in the water. The kids' kayaks were great to have! Our oldest age 19 enjoyed floating in the water, spending time on the beach reading, and just relaxing by the fire pit! The cabin itself was great and stayed cool during the nights. Had everything we needed to cook all of our meals, and had the grill too! We spent most of our time out on the screened in porch listening to the birds in the morning and wildlife at night. We could hear the military gun range, but it was not a nuisance at all. The beauty of this property was incredible. We saw hummingbirds, deer, a lot of different birds, and squirrels. If you are a golfer there is a nice golf course nearby in Black River Falls, and also check out the Elroy-Sparta Trail Tunnel #3 if you are looking for an adventure. We spent most of our time at the cabin and enjoyed every minute of it! After 7 days, we did not want to leave. We hope to come back again soon!

Another fantastic stay

We had a wonderful time at Two Camps. The hosts are amazing, and the immersion in nature is really wonderful for reconnecting. We enjoyed lots of swimming and biking at the nearby Elroy-Sparta trail. Highly recommended!
