Four Winds Cottage

  • This recently renovated cottage has a beautiful coastal vibe. Modern amenities come together with vintage accents such as shiplap, hemlock beams and original fireplace and chimney creating a quintessential Maine cottage. Large deck with outdoor dining and lounging and a large yard make it great for one or two families. The house is located two blocks from the town center so it is close to restaurants and shops.

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was roomy, clean and well-equipped. The location was perfect for easy access to all of Acadia. We enjoyed being on the quiet side of the island as well.

This home is beautifully decorated and had everything the 5 of us needed for a wonderful 4-night stay! Great promity to Acadia NP, restaurants and shops. Ingrid, our host, was very responsive and ensured we had what we needed. We highly recommend this home!

Loved this house! It had everything we needed and was in a great location. Very clean and well stocked with all the supplies we needed. The host is informative and quick to reply to any messages.

It was an excellent stay in a great location for exploring Acadia if you don't want the touristy bustle of Bar Harbor. The house is nicely set up in each bedroom and was clean and well maintained. Requests prior to leaving were reasonable. Thank you so much!

Perfect home for family (or multi family). Nice inside space, clean and easy amenities. Great location, walking distance of town. Highly recommend for a stay in southwest harbor!

The kitchen was fully stocked with all the basic necessities which was a huge plus for us. The house was clean and we had a wonderful time.

The home was specious for 8 of us. Plenty of seating room and very comfortable. Easy walk to town to enjoy the restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again.

My friends and I were in town to run the Mount Desert Island half marathon and hike Acadia National Park. We greatly appreciated the amenities provided and cleanliness and warm feeling of the house. The sunroom was a great place to relax. This was the perfect location for us and town was very walkable. Would highly recommend a stay here!

Wonderful Stay

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Four Winds Cottage. The house was beautiful and Ingrid had thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. We would definitely stay there again!

Our stay at the Coastal Cottage was exactly what we needed as a group of 5 adults. The location was perfect for our adventures around MDI and the house was in great condition! The small touches like having beach towels, extra blankets, coffee, laundry, etc. available made our stay even better.

The house is amazing. Lots of space, almost all new outfitting and renovation done, easy to get anywhere you want to go. Totally furnished kitchen complete with things you normally would need to run out and buy (foils, oils, spices, coffee, etc.)We will definitely stay there again!

Very clean, lovely cosy home

This home is very clean. We enjoyed our stay and love how cozy the place is. The kitchen is well equipped which was very helpful since we were there during off season and lots of restaurants were already closed.

The description was accurate but undersold the rental. The house was so much more. The location is fabulous for everything Acadia, and Ingrid communicates extremely well.

Charming and Cozy Cottage

This house was lovely. The setting was relaxing and quiet. We were able to walk to some of the small local stores and bakeries nearby. Convienent location for accessing the national park and many local attractions. I cannot recommend this home enough. We would definitely go back!

House worked fine for our 2 day stay at Acadia. No issues, all was good. Very nice place. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Super new renovation

The house looked great. Newly renovated and lots of space for the kids to spread out. Beds were nice and location was great for Acadia. I’d definitely recommend this house!
