Come experience the magic of lakeside living. Please read the entire description before booking to ensure you book the correct unit for your group's size and needs. Our newly built lakefront cottage was built with vacation rental in mind.

This listing is to book unit: Bluegill, is a one bed one bath unit with a king bed (sleeps 2). To book the entire cottage or a different unit, please find the corresponding listing for your dates or reach out with any questions. The entire cottage has 3 units, 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and sleeps 9 total.

This unit has a king bed, full bath with a walk in shower, a kitchenette and living room space with a dining table. Each unit has its own lake front porch over looking Deer Point Lake.

Deer Point lake is known for its big bass and record Shellcrackers so bring your fishing pole, boat or jet ski. There are 2 fishing Kayaks, a charcoal grill, picnic table, and a lake side fire pit for guest use. A private boat dock and trailer parking is available for guest use as well. There is a 50 amp / 240 volt EV plug for our guests traveling in electric vehicles, and a 50 amp RV site on the property if you are traveling in an RV.

By allowing our guests to book the units in the cottage separately, you only pay for what you need. Each unit has its own private entrance and key pad, and guests have access to a full washer and dryer.

We allow dogs with an additional pet fee. Dogs must be crated or taken with the owner if you leave the property.

Other details to note:
The cottage is located 25 minutes from Panama City beach, Pier Park, and several other beaches. It is only 15 minutes from Panama City airport, 20 minutes from Tyndall Air Force Base, and a 45 minute drive to Seaside and 30A area.

Self check-in with keypad. Each unit has a private entrance with door code locks and a common laundry area.

Only the first dog is included in the pet fee during your stay; each additional dog is subject to a $50 fee.

Bring your own firewood and charcoal for use of the firepit and grill.

Bring your boat or jet skis to explore the lake, or enjoy some great fishing as the lake has very little fishing pressure on it. Fishing, hunting, birding, kayaking, or boating on the rivers make for great day activities. Relaxing on the lake just steps outside your front door is also a good option.

Additional $15 to have access to the EV charger during your stay. The RV Pad has sewage, water, electrical at the pad, and there is an additional charge if you would like to use it during your stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful lake house on Deer Point Lake. The home was spotless, well-equipped with all the essentials, and had plenty of parking. We especially enjoyed using the kayaks and relaxing by the water. Highly recommend for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!

Our stay at the Bluegill unit was beyond delightful. Nestled right on Deer Point Lake, the tranquil porch and wooden dock made early mornings filled with kayaking, and peaceful lake views simply unforgettable. We loved having the EV charger on site, which was a thoughtful amenity, especially for guests with electric vehicles.The cottage was spotless, well appointed, and stocked with everything we could possibly need, from a cozy king bed and functional kitchenette to laundry in the common area. The convenience of self check in and private entrances made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.Our pup also had a blast, and being dog friendly was a huge plus for us. Hands down one of the most relaxing and accommodating stays I have experienced. The hosts were responsive, the space was thoughtful, and the setting was magical. I highly recommend this stay for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and a peaceful lakeside escape.
