  • Lakeland Village lodge units provide an ideal location for guests seeking convenient access to nearby attractions. Being located near the main road, you may notice some ambient noise, though many of our guests have found it to be a worthwhile trade-off for the proximity to the area’s main activities. The unit comes equipped with a wall-mounted air conditioning unit to maintain a cool temperature during summer months, and additional fans are provided to enhance comfort. Please note, due to the layout, loft areas may feel warmer, but thoughtful cooling solutions are in place to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

    This home has comfortable sleeping and dining for 2 adults, 4 if children ages 13 and under are included. This applies 24/7.

    Lakeland Village boasts one of the best locations in South Lake Tahoe, offering an array of amenities to delight every member of the family.

    Lakeland Village amenities: two pools, including a year-round heated pool and a seasonal lakeside pool, plus a seasonal wading pool, two shared hot tubs, sauna, fitness center, private beach and pier, lakeside fire pits, seasonal BBQs, and boat buoys (first-come, first-served). The lakeside pool and wading pool are open during the summer months only.

    You're moments away from Heavenly Ski Resort, exceptional golf courses, trails for hiking and biking, stunning Emerald Bay, a wide selection of dining venues, shopping options, and the convenience of a Whole Foods Market directly across Hwy 50.

    Nearby Activities and Area Info:
    Get around the city for free with Lake Link, the on-demand ride service. All linens and towels for home and beach use are provided. Boat, Bike, SUP and kayak rental are within walking distance in summer; ski/snowboard rental in winter.

    Parking passes must be displayed in your vehicle while parked on the property and returned to the home at checkout. If a pass is taken from the property, it must be returned or shipped back within 72 hours (tracking required) or a $250 fee will apply.

    Please Note: The Lodge is accessed by approximately 25 steps. First-come, first-served garage parking is available beneath the building, with elevator access from the garage to the Lodge.

    Pets are not allowed. If you have a trained Service dog, we can help you find a dog-friendly home.
    No smoking inside the home, common areas, or outside balcony.

We loved our stay at the unit! Was nice to have easy access to beach and amenities. Walking distance to Whole Foods across the street was nice as well. Would not hesitate to stay again!

This is such a great location. Close to the pool/hot tub. Very close to great restaurants and grocery stores, we walked everywhere. Only drove our vehicle only one day to do site seeing. We biked to some amazing trails that included waterfalls and a bike park. Such a great vacation!

Outstanding location, amazing & outstanding pool, outstanding beach. These items 10/10. Room is outdated & could use some updates, also, smaller than it looks & we agreed a bit overpriced but! would stay there again.

Nice place but had some down falls. No dishwasher present, would have liked additional seating in the living area and the bedroom mattress wasn't great. Property was nice and would stay in that area again for sure.

Great location!

Great overall stay the spot is super close to heavenly village and like 5 mins away from the state line where all the casinos are. It’s a great spot to be centralized to everything.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Love that we were walking distance to the beach and the pool and hot tub options were great too. It was a perfect spot for our family of four. Thank you!

Great location

Clean space and great location. Short walk to the private beach. Walking distance to CVS which was so nice when we realized we forgot a few small things. Can’t wait to come back and stay again

Clean & quiet

Property was as listed. Parking and check in were nice & easy. Property featured its own private beach access as well as other amenities such as pool/hot tub.

Review for summer—great location with walkable beach access and close to nearby outdoor activities/hiking. Property is off a busy main road so not as walkable with kids, but it is close to everything by car. No issues with AC, and host company responsive. Appreciated the sun umbrella and beach towels provided. Things inside are dated but mostly accurate as depicted. Main surprise was the lack of a dishwasher. Toilet seat also was slightly broken and unable to stay in the open position. Would likely stay here again in the future given location keeping in mind the above.

Overall good location to lake and stores, casinos. Road traffic was audible but not too bad. Water was turned off due to water main break at facility but was fixed same day. Host was quick to respond with bottled water.

Condo at South Lake Tahoe

The stay was great, everything was as described perfectly. Our dvd player was broken and they provided us a new one within an hour! Communication with the host was excellent! The only bad thing I can say is that the mattress was very hard. Maybe time for an upgrade? Everything else was wonderful! Would stay again!

Probably one of the best furnished kitchens we've encountered. It is small though. Living room is comfortable, everything worked and is in good repair. I also can't say enough about the rental company. They are very good at communicating and follow up. The staff are friendly and have a good sense of humor. From first contact to last, probably the best I've met.

Unit is very clean - good quality bedding. Smells a bit like pot :) so we aired it out throughout the stay. Very small water closet / shower area. Take note if you’re a family of larger people. Staff and communication are awesome. Parking was a challenge during holiday week but we figured it out. We’d stay again!

Location is great

Location is good except no one states in their review that the unit is approximately 30 feet from the 4 lane main road. I found I believe a few chunks of throw-up on the bedspread which I reported. A few dishes and knives were also dirty.

If you’re looking for somewhere with lake and pool access without breaking the bank this spot is perfect. The beach and beachside pool/hot tub were a short walk and there is an additional pool and hot tub (usually less crowded) right next to the condo at the check in building! The small balcony (no lake view) that is accessed through the bedroom or living area sliding doors is right along the main road so if you’re sensitive to noise this may not be ideal. They did have a sound machine that was very helpful. The condo was well stocked with essentials such as hand and dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, paper towels, makeup cleansing wipes and laundry pods for use in nearby laundry room down the hall. We were pleased to find the unit has 2 large closets and ample hangers which was nice to keep clothes and luggage out of the way. Two kids slept on the pull out couch and no complaints. We would definitely stay in Lakeland village again!

Great little apartment, right on the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: RnR went above and beyond with communication, making sure we knew they were always ready to help. They knew we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and left a sweet note and a "bubbly" for us! Very thoughtful. The only downside to this charming place was being right by the road. Main street is very active day and night, that gave us an excuse to fall asleep to the "sounds machine". Our upstairs neighbors were extremely loud very early and late during the day, yet we never heard our side neighbors. A little outdated, but really well stock and clean kitchen! I'd book it again.

The unit it self was the right size for my husband, myself and son. The ac was a plus was a bit warm this trip and certainly needed it. The only down side to this rental is how close it is to the street can be very noisy.
