Beautiful sunsets, 5 miles from South Haven, 14 miles from Saugatuck.
Wonderful farmers market ! , One is just 2 miles away, with its own u- pick orchards. Whatever might be in season, you can enjoy picking it yourselves!
The other is the Farmers Market located in village of South Haven, just a 6 min drive.

We are just 14 miles from Saugatuck, and Douglas with beautiful art studios and excellent shopping !

Kal Trial is close by. A locally owned winery, quarter mile from cottage , golf courses 1.5 miles east. (Hawks Head)
Cottage is 5 min walk to tram that will take you to beach, also stairs for a good exercise each morning! Our beach is great for stone and some rock collecting. Fun to search for beach glass, and glen stones (which are only found in this area ). Our you may just be interested in sunbathing, and reading a book, and swimming .
City of South Haven has a public beach as well, as many small beach areas, along North Shore Dr. which is a great place to walk, on one of your days with us.
Then you must end your days, enjoying glorious sunsets with your favorite libation from the bluff, just 360ft from our cottage home.

This Area: is between Chicago and Detroit, South Haven is one of Michigan's best kept secrets. The Wall Street Journal recently rated the town as one of the top ten vacation home locations. Photographers, boaters and vacationers alike seek out South Haven for the vistas, the pier and lighthouse and the sunsets

This cottage sleeps 6 to 10 adult comfortably also can sleep 3 to six children depending on how many adults are in your group. Convection/microwave oven perfect for baking bread. Our blackout curtains in bedrooms can be used for a good night’s sleep.

Please be aware 10 people is the limit allowed by Casco Township
1 dog is allowed MUST be ok-ed by owner of this cottage, 175.00 fee for dog

This property rents by the week only during the summer months July /August, Saturday to Saturday.
All other, days/weeks/months may be by a 2 night minimum.

The location of this house was great. It was an easy walk down to the private beach. The house was clean and very comfortable. The owners were very easy to communicate with. My one suggestion would be to have a step stool in the bathroom for smaller kids. The sinks are all very high and made it challenging for the kids to use them.

I have stayed in South Haven many times and this neighborhood is one of my favorites we have found. We had a larger party of six, staying for only 2 nights, and this house was fabulous. Owners were immediately reachable via message and provided great information. All my kids had their own rooms and the house had plenty of toys, games, bikes and beach items for us to use. Neighborhood was quiet. The upstairs took a little bit to cool off, but with the mini-split and lots of fans available, we were very comfortable. The beach is easily accessible, however, the trams can be tricky and the lake level was very high, making the beach area quite small. We would definitely stay again and I am so grateful for the owners letting us stay just 2 nights!!

Wonderful family week! It’s rare all three of my sons and their Family can get together. This house gave us that opportunity. A little more detail for cleanup would’ve been helpful, but we tried to leave the property As clean as we could. More than one tram key would’ve helped as all families didn’t go to the beach Together Small issue with the bathroom door handle was tended to very quickly? Clean, well kept facility, a short stroll to the beach. Lots to do within a 20 minute drive and some great things to do within a mile. Sunsets over Lake Michigan were spectacular. We had a group of 8 and really enjoyed our week.

This is our second year at this home and will look forward to coming back again. The home is in a great location with easy access to the lake and area small towns. Very easy to communicate with the property manager and quick responses received for any questions. We love looking for rocks and beach glass and had a wonderful time.

6 retired veteran grandfathers who love golf, tranquility and good fellowship in a comfortable house. Everything we needed was provided, from BBQ utensils to Q-Tips. This was our 2nd trip to this house, and we already booked a week in 2025. Don't let our ages fool you. we recommend this home for families of all ages. There is plenty to do in the area to make everyone happy. Bob

This was our first time to Michigan for a family vacation and it was great! The house was perfect and matched the listing perfectly. Easy walk to the beach. Very nice neighborhood. This property was very well stocked and comfortable. It suited our family’s needs very well. The separate apartment was so nice for our family with a toddler. We spent many hours on the beach creating memories. We loved staying here and have already booked it again for next year.

This was a great home for our family of 5 to just get away from the hustle and bustle and just relax! The house was very clean, close to a private beach, not far from the bigger public beaches, and the host was very communicative. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was perfect with our rental and as expected except the AC was not functional. We only stayed for two nights and did not want to have to deal with a worker, but the AC was definitely broken. There were fans all over the home so I’m assuming this was known. Thank goodness this was an unusually cool couple of days or else this would have ruined our getaway.

My first time to South Haven. The property was gorgeous and tastefully decorated. The kids (and adults) loved the beach and had fun on the tram down and back up the hill. The owners were quick to respond with questions. The property was the perfect size for our group. Grandparents downstairs, adults in two bedrooms upstairs and the kids loved the seperate loft/apartment area. South Haven is a cool little town and we were already planning our next trip on the way home!

This property exceeded our expectations to the point that we all want to return. We are all golfers and this was our home base. We golfed for 4 days and relaxed for 3 nights. We found everything we needed to make our stay exceptional. This was an A+++++ experience. I will plan another excursion in the future.
