"What an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home."

"Really great everyone is so friendly, rooms are very clean and up to excellent standards. The food is brilliant very kind waiters. Reasonable price for the hotel with breakfast included. Only thing I would say is parking is very limited and extremely tight drive way wouldn’t recommend big cars. "

"This hotel was an excellent place to stay in Wells - super convenient location in town with great cathedral view. Room was comfortable with nice touches. Staff was very kind. The breakfast was also a highlight that I would recommend, the breakfast chef does an excellent job and it is a great spread!"

"Room was lovely, very big, spotlessly clean. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Lovely free toiletries, home made biscuits, lots of choice of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Food was delicious."

"We went with our children, who are 5 and 2. The family room we stayed at was big and spacious, so was the bathroom. All beds were comfortable, and they even had a cot ready for our 2yo. The children had a blast playing at the large play area while seeing the goats and alpacas. Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. The only downside was that, even though they have wifi, we had no signal in our room, so we could only go online (wifi or otherwise) at the restaurant and common areas."

"The room was very nicely presented, light and very cosy and warm. The staff were very helpful, kathy helped us out lots and assisted us with whatever we needed. Access to the pool and various spa activities was a good addition as well. Lovely place and well recommeded, will deffinetely stay again. "
